Neymar was man of the match again!!! What a talented kid, I have to admit. People should really stops comparing him with Bale, both are great. And despite how much I like Barca attacking football philosophy, I still must say they look quite ordinary without Messi (even with Neymar top form). Let's not forget 3 games Neymar scored 3 with useless Celtic (no motivation), 2 against Villareal (1pen), and today with nobody knows team. So we still have to wait for him to shine in bigger game before we can say anything about Ballon Dor

Well, Neymar gave us a title vs Super Atletico Madrid and scored a decisive goal vs Real Madrid. He gets assists, does amazing dribbles, he's a good playmaker and now he's scoring a lot of goals. I'd say that he is definitely meeting the expectations so far and he is only 21 years old... And just wait when we have the Messiah back on top form...

@BlaugranaDude: I think that the return of messi will cause problems for 2 players of barcelona. NEYMAR and SANCHEZ. Without messi these two get much more chances to show their skills and great talent. Once messi comes back it will change back to how it used to be : Heaps of tikitaka, the decisive pass to messi and goal. (which proofed to be VERY effective in the past as we all know ;)I'm surprised noone has realized that neymar and sanchez got much better without messi on the pitch

"Bigger game"? He scored against Real and Atlético, two of the top 10 teams in the world, he scored against Spain, possibly the best national team right now. If anything, he has already proven that he plays very well if not even better in big games, unlike Bale.

@footballfan Neymar was very good when he played with Messi, just assisting more than scoring which was understandable given the fact that he was a winger and when Messi's injured, he plays in the middle. Alexis was also great with Messi this season.

@ta qi+none Sorry but Sanchez DEFINITELY did NOT play great throughout 2013, he actually was a lot on the bench or was switched out early most of the game he started. He improved A LOT THIS SEASON. its true that neymar was concentrating on assisting, but these last weeks prove that messi presence affected his goalscoring skills. Now he gives assists AND scores goals. I'M SURE that once messi comes back sanchez and neymar will go back to assisting messi.
