"I think it's a penalty. Part of a forward's job is when you're racing towards the ball with a goalkeeper, part of your job is to try and get there first and toe poke the ball past him. Then the keeper's got a problem. Because once the keeper goes down, he's not in control of his body" Alan Shearer

i don't care if he was dive or not. but Suarez is world class top football player.and for your information, Cristiano Ronaldo won FIFA Balon d`Or with lot of dive.... so does Messi....

Hahaha 13 years ago

Messi dives? Are you high?

Aston villa outplayed us? Okay we started slowly with Gerrard in the holding MF position but once we find the rhythm it was only about Liverpool. As for the penalty any striker in that position would do the same. I just wonder why so many jealous haters are there!

Liverpool really need to sure up their back 4 or games like this will keep slipping away and will keep losing points. As a side point, the diving debate is pointless, in my opinion.

chelseaaaa 13 years ago

any player in any team would dive to get the result...its called modern football deal with it.in 3 weeks noone will remember he dived but the +1 will be there :)this way loserpool might go to top 4

i bet suarez can get a gold medal for Uruguay in Olympic aquatics, diving category. he should consider representing his country in this sports after his footballing retirement. otherwise, talent wasted.
