good win, beat a somewhat in form Newcastle side away from home.... with Giroud as the main striker...thats a great result to me. Being top of the table isnt luck, hopefully we can keep it up!

Great win. Kind nervy final 20 mins but we got through. That fact that people saying we were lucky its so sad to see. Maybe its cause Newcastle has beaten Man united, chelsea, Tottenham and drew to Liverpool thats why they are jealous. Hoping for a good start to 2014 and wish our form continues just like the first half of the season. COYG

it is very good 3 points because Newcastle is very good team. Chelsea Man u and liverpool all dropped points against them. So that's good. Its not a boring game but very physical one.

Right, these comments about parking the bus have gone way overboard. Parking the bus is a strategic tactic to winning a game when ahead. We're playing against a top BPL team at their home ground and are horrendously hard to beat. We got a good goal to set us off but Newcastle have a very offensive line-up. I felt we were weak this game even with higher possession and one counter attack or a good corner to Remy could've easily fucked it up for us. Chelsea did the exact same thing twice in a row in the Champions League which won it for them, fair play to them. If "parking the bus" means winning a game, the league or a tournament, then so be it. This is the BPL, everything is possible and every team does what they can to secure a top spot and even the title. Get a grip guys and girls.
