Southampton have a bright future. Their academy has consistently turned out some top players, only to have someone snap them up. Players like Gareth Bale, Alan Shearer, Matt Le Tissier, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott and Wayne Bridge all went on to "bigger and better" things... However, they now have so much talent feeding in from their academy that the supply is outstripping the demand. If they keep this form up they may push someone out of the top four, and very soon be able to hold on to their key players. I only hope that the team which gets pushed out is the Spuds!

these are the two teams that are doing beyond the expectations teams to look out for!

wow... Southampton is good this season.

Wow, Southampton will make it into the champions league at this rate!

southampton proves that it doesnt take a manager to make a team win but the players and the team itself! up to 3rd place! well done saints!

Southampton will finish about 8th or 9th this season. Calm down you mad people.

Their manager doesn't speak English so he is just enjoying and does not have to deal with their terrible and unsettling questions. You can't imagine what impact the media can have on your plans.

Southampton is playing against mid teams with so much confidence ! Before they step in they already feel as superior !! Club is doing all the right things !

Shows why they deserved an England call up

if Southampton goes to champions league QPR will go too LoL

Southampton are good damn side I tell you because they are just playing FANTASTIC football!

Pochettino has done an amazing job with this team.

Mike, your mother is a dyke

Calm yo tits really , title contenders? Really good team- yes, but i don't think they are there yet in terms of having a squad for top 4. Top 6 would be amazing already I think for them, considering Arsenal,Liverpool, Tottenham, City, United and Chelsea make up 6 teams, so beating one of them would be a real achievement already. I don't think top 4 though.

i know it is too early to say but i think southampton will be going to champions league next year.

OMG!! UNEXPECTED TITLE CONTENDER :o
