Wow, they made Ivory Coast look ordinary. Shambolic defending from the highlights atleast!

Still happy Drogba scored. That is a win for me in my book. :)

Mexico's two best players in this game, Peralta and Reyna, are great examples of late bloomers...they've always been good but due to lack of discipline (Reyna) and lack of confidence from his managers (Peralta) they weren't given enough opportunities as youngsters. But now that they have matured and gained vital experience we are seeing them thrive at a late stage in their respective careers. Hopefully their current form will help Mexico improve in their WC qualification.

What Happened to Ivory Coast?

ben 13 years ago

ivory coast played their B squad 1st which is why we got killed , but good game

iniesta 13 years ago

and mexico played with B squad the 2nd half. You're point? Mexico beat them fair and square both teams were missing some players so Mexico was the better team.

ben 13 years ago

umm iniesta the point is your A squad played against a B squad and most of our A squad players were injured ... and indeed mexico was the better team ... but that scoreline will never happen twice

iniesta 13 years ago

umm no ben that was not Mexico A squad. Id say mexico had as many A squad players as Ivory did. The scoreline was a bit off because Ivory had some silly mistakes, but then again i don't believe that was a penalty. Regardless to say it was a friendly but i believe mexico has the talent to defeat them again.

Peralta is underrated actually

Tevez 13 years ago

Who's need chicarito? We only need Oribe Peralta. He is a beast since He brought Mexico defeated Brazil in the London Summer Olympic Final 2012. But unfortunately, Mexico left him in the Confederation Cup 2013 as He is already 29 years old.

obama 13 years ago
