Japan is really the pride of Asia, they play really great football and very courageous in their attacks, not afraid to play their passing game, but they are let down by their physique and techniques except for Kagawa and Honda, for example spain using techniques to compensate for their physical disadvantages.. But if want to compare the defense, Uruguay defense is not good as well, but their forwards are threatening..

Japan do not have enough good players and the style of their players are too similar. (Small, nimble, skillful but not strong enough). It cause their football is good looking but not practical. Have this result, I don't know why still so many people vote them "Top" class and the vote is more than Uruguay. May be their football is good look but so poor defense how can you say they are "Top" class???

You're answer is is in your question, Japan do not have enough good players but they make great results against big Teams like Italy, Uruguay, ... So, it's class! Attack is extremely fast, Honda can humiliate every defense but Japan often lose the game because of their poor defense...

Japan have produced some of the best left footers in the game in Shunsuke Nakamura and Keisuke Honda. Both also have very good freekicks on them.

Poor defense by Japan, Kawashima is very inconsistent this season... But Honda is always incredible, pass, dribbles, shot, FK, what a beast!

He can't escape from that Russian club. I don't understand why they won't release him any sooner. Honda could've gone to AC Milan. He's the best Japanese player to me atm.
