England

we all have to accept it, England team is shite and our youngsters are not as promising as we say they are. They are overrated just like Rooney. Shaw, Lilana your performance does not justify your price tags. Most people ask why EPL clubs go for foreign footballers when we have talent within the country. The simple answer is, our players are too expensive and they lack skill. Thats the truth !

i came here just want to congratulate to England on their first point.

Manchester United players suck, they ruined it for England.Kick Rooney out

on next world cup, sturridge will be the scariest striker. he has pace, he has technique, left foot, right foot, head. he just need more luck.

wow i'm really surprised that England can hold the much better team Costa Rica

People, when you've finished slating England, try to remember that Costa Rica beat Italy and Uruguay, so a draw isn't bad. England are a young bunch of players with little experience playing as a team. They look good and faced paced at times. Least they don't bore the crap out of us and are pretty exciting to watch. It was a hard group and they did okay. Just saying...

England was great! all they need was one hell of player and also crazy passionate.. and they good! remember the good old days,k.danglish, alan shearer, ryan giggs.. :)

look at sturridge not penalty and samaras penalty ? how ?

I think we have to think about make a world cup for the loosers

I felt the general consensus amongst english fans and media was that this squad wasn't expected to be by any means good; it was a young, inexperienced team designated to prepare for the Euros and next World cup. Why is it that some england fans suddenly feel really disappointed by these results? Look at the merits of each individual game: overall we played far better attacking football than what we've had to put up with in recent years. Ultimately we only narrowly lost the first 2 games through misfortune and lack of final shot opportunities. All games could easily been won on another day. I think we have a reasonable chance to do well in the upcoming Euros. When the dust settles from this world cup you might realise this more.

Yet again why disappointd when england never won before? anyways highly gifted young players coming up there but is that so new?

i just feel Sturridge is freaking wasteful :(

gerrard n sterling and lamvert should start. this is what happen when you dont use these players

We played better than in the last World Cup, we went out because we got a bit unlucky and failed to qualify with a youthful unexperienced squad and the team is receiving more hate than in 2010, fuck logic..

Gosh people really hate England because they are 'overrated'. TBH, I think we had a good tournament. We played well, but just had bad finishing. Well done to Costa Rica anyways :)

With the exception of England v Italy, Italy have been far sh*ttier than England in my opinion. Of course England is the team everybody likes to hate regardless of results of other teams. Italy fans probably wont look at their own crap performances vs Uruguay and Costa Rica by focusing on england, who knew they wouldnt do sh*t at this tournament.

Well done Costa Rica!Who the hell expected this underdog team to qualify in that group?

I dont get it, UK has one of the toughest leagues in the world and can't get a decent result in the WC... strange indeed.

the true disgrace team is england.. and i wonder why in the hell all english commentator in tv seems compared italy and england.. as if italy the most bottom team.. trollss count point and goal difference.. england just like scout boys in WC.. oh ya.. only 1 trophy.. 1966 (once upon a time in 1966).. so shut ur mouth england commentators and trolls

Well Costa Rica can easily pass the 2nd round too. But Uruguay will probably be eliminated by Colombia.
