if Greece wasn't down one man this game would have been theirs. Katsouranis gotta work on his timing. one man down and still attacking, defense shut down Japan, what did you think was going to happen with a defensive powerhouse like Greece. When your team needs the single point the game is going to get boring..

Greece played like the ancient heroes...but nothing more, they just kept the draw at the end, that gives them a chance to qualify, mostly hoping to already qualified Colombia to take least a draw from Japan...and a win against Ivory Coast. Greece usually plays well with African teams, remember the win at last WC against Nigeria. Anyhow, the starting hour of the game (01:00 after midnight in Greece, local time), was a great chance to get a nice sleep especially if you are tired....;-)...Greek defence was funny against Kolombia, and our way of playing is highly predictable, not leaving us have big expectations. In Euro 2004 we had also some creative game, just imagine that Karagounis was 10 years younger, and there were also some good and young players that time.

Japan's mistake was to waste most of their attacks over and over and over again crossing the ball into a wall of taller Greeks that are just 200% better at headers. I love Japan but I think today, they just missed their biggest chance to qualify. Strategic failure.

Damn,this match was sooo boring!!We played so badly even Greece played with 10 men and tried to put in high crosses when we already know that Greece dfs would clear them.I didnt see much determination from our players in this match.I dont wanna say this but I think that our world cup run has ended....

dude, i don't mind calling a team cowards if it's justified, but what did you want them to do with a red card before the half? do you attack constantly and open up holes, or do whatever it takes to ensure at least a draw and get as many points as you can for your country?you're not even a fan of the game, just someone looking for excuses to bash other nations.

2nd Yellow was wrong imo. Katsouranis didn't even touch that guy. And two wrong Offside decisions for the Greek side in the first half, and one of them was clear position.
