I agree with bestofthebest. Maradonna was great in more than one team and not to mention he pretty much almost single-handedly won a World Cup for his country. The point is Messi is awesome because he is in a great club that suits HIS style! when you have 2 of the best playmakers in the world in Xavi and Iniesta, and you have the talent that Messi has then there's no excuse not to win and score game after game, seriously if you put Barca in a more challengin league (cuz LA LIGA is really a 2 team league) like the EPL then you'd see the Barca have more of a challenge. The EPL's mid-table teams are leaps and bounds better then the 3rd and 4th place teams in LA LIGA! Ronaldo on the other hand has shown that he is the best in 3 clubs! regardless of who's there and who's not! He was midfielder no he'a a forward. There's a difference between a forward and a striker. I'll give u examples of true strikers (Il phinomeno Ronaldo 9, Hugo Sanchez, Drogba, David Villa, Rooney, Tevez, Samuel Eto'o, Theirry Henry, Ibrahimovic, Pato etc.) There's a difference in the way they play and move compared to forwards and midfielders. Both Messi and Ronaldo are COMPLETE Midfielders and Forwards but neither are strikers.
