Netherlands will suffer every attack in the world cup. They have good mid and attack but a terrible defense. A match between Argentina and Netherlands would be interesting; loaded with goal...i believe.

everytime i see Robben score a goal like that I think about how he was robbed of a Ballon Dor in 2010. good to see Honda in form he's going to change the dynamic of milan for sure.

Some Japanese players didn't do their homework prior to the game. About 90% of Roben's game is like that one which lead to his goal.

Japan are definitely playing in the style of Barcelona. They also positioned their centrebacks wide. Both of them were standing on the line of each side of their own penalty box. In the later parts of the game, Japan even changed up their formation to 3-6-1 or 3-4-3 with one of their defensive midfielder dropping back ala Busquets, to form a temporary 3-men defence.

I agree stanker, japan are chasing the tiki taka style of barca, and no wonder they're doing that. If we look for some similarties between japan and barca, first thing that will come to mind is that both tend to have small budy structure; this is barca's weakness point (which is why they were outclassed by bayern). Therefore, the most logical style of play that japan should adapt for is the tiki taka in order to avoid physical contact with the big bullies like germans sweden etc....) Japanese are truly smart having figured all this.
