To say that Barcelona controlled the game, because they had meaningless possession is absolute nonsense. Football is about creating meaningful opportunities and scoring goals. Also to say that Barcelona were somehow distracted by a game at the weekend is disrespectful, bitter and utterly arrogant. Barcelona have been a world force for about 10 years. We have a lot of respect for every club, and that goes even for a club who have about 10% of Milan's history on the world stage. You are though right about Milan needing the point. We have come to be humble as we understand our current status. The only reason Barcelona are superior to Milan at this time is because of a massive gulf in investment. The reality is that the Milan vintage of 2005 would have beaten this Barcelona easily.

Its funny how no one and absolutely NO ONE mentioned Messi's goal. The goal looked so normal at first but only people who play football on daily basis will be amazed by Messi's balance, strength and execution on this one. Look how EASILY he ERASES Mexes, and quickly changes his position to face the keeper, and Constant, with his long legs is just desperate to get the ball. Pause it at 1:17, you can see how close Messi is to the ground, descending his gravity center to be able to keep the balance in order to finish properly. He IS the # 1 on the planet by a mile.
