Zenit St. Petersburg 1-1 FC Porto Result, Lineups & Stats (6 Nov 2013)

People shouldn't even compare these two clubs. Porto is so much more class. While Zenit are using hundreds of millions on players, Porto are producing incredible talent and selling them to other top clubs which makes football a better sport. Porto = Class, Zenit = Rubbish

Here you're right, everybody laughs at Zenit in Russia, but 14 of 16 clubs in Russia are like Porto, because of Zenit and Anzhi (no longer) mostly) so they make football better in Russia) when Zenit won UEFA Cup in 2007 they had 7 club-grown players in the main squad, so it's just now they are like this, it's Spalletti's strange scouting

Hulk always scores! Oh my god

Lots of russian here?Top class?porto were not great today, but zenit were just lucky enough to save their asses in the whole 90 mins.

tynder 13 years ago

Lucky enough?)) your keeper saved a penalty kick, even this fact is enough to call you lucky) think what you want, you have 2 points from last 4 matches with Zenit)

Respect to Hulk for not celebrating the goal. Btw you can't deny that Zenit's goal announcer is sounding absolutely HORRIBLE.

tynder 13 years ago

Yep, he sounds like an idiot. You're lucky you hear it that seldom

you're wrong. We played the better football this game. Zenit had a penalty and one big chance, that was it

tynder 13 years ago

Rly? pff nothing to talk about wit you. Zenit were rubbish first 45 minutes but you weren't better at all. Helton just saved you, admit it. Lodygin was just catching the loose ball the whole match, failed once, you call it shots? Martinez's shot from 30 yards was cool but nothing else

Evgeniy Spasskiy 13 years ago

Hulk and Helton are the reasons Porto have a draw in the end.

lucky zenit, Porto were much better apart from the penalty

tynder 13 years ago

rubbish, Zenit could have scored several times in the second half, they were kinda too nervous in the first, but Porto just had the ball and nothing more

Evgeniy Spasskiy 13 years ago

watching highlight doesnt mean watching the match

y0 13 years ago

did you watch the game you fool? Porto had 20 shots, 10 on target, zenit had 7, 3 on target. i dont care if Porto had the ball more, but they created the more chances and played much better football. unlucky not to win

tynder 13 years ago

So what? Most of them weren't even dangerous, from 25-30 yards at leastEven the goal was more of keeper's mistakeWhen Zenit started playing their game, Porto had no chance

hanalulu 13 years ago

Porto had more shots on target but there wasn't serious problems for a goalie. Arshavin and Hulk had great chances to score.

I hope someday Spalletti will finally get dat the team having shitty defence can't play defensive football like in the first halfit doesn't give any result anyway, wat's the reason?4 years seem to be not enough
