I know it has been said before, but i repeat only one person who got the offside rules correct. Gallas was offside, but not because the defender on the backline, cmon get real, u're only out of field of play if the ref tells ya, or u directly leave stadium, if u run behind the backline u still count at the offside line. No take a look at the Goalkeepers position, he's infront of Gallas, and there has to be be atleast 2 oponents between you and the ball when passed. And i will quote this directly from Laws of the Game A player is not in an offside position if: • he is in his own half of the Field of play or • he is level with the second-last opponent or • he is level with the last two opponents The GK is the second last opponent, and is clearly infront of him

@xanders Listen I completely agree that our French team could do amazing things at the WC because we have amazing potential.. We have all the players that we need to build a strong dominant force and potential w.. but Domenech is hated with good reason. Look at the way we play and you'll notice we have no organization, offensively and defensively, we just pass the ball around midfield between defenders and midfielders and each time we make an attempt to go further forward we lose the ball. No one makes runs or tries to get open up front, we have no ability to penetrate defenses as a team. You look at ribery and he is the only one that is able to cut open defenses at the moment, but he can't do it alone, which is what he is trying to do right now.. Domenech does not know how to organize a team.. we did so will in the world cup 2006 because we had one of the greatest players of all time, zidane, he carried the team to the final.! mais comme meme on a une equipe tres forte avec une grande potential! For those who keep one insulting French team right now will regret when the world cup will start...the French soccer team is not dead yet, we're working hard to make our new tactic system coz everythings in our game is new, made by Domenech, the most hated coach here in France (and for nothing).and it will get stronger match by match ! Our team looks in downform right now...like before, in the W.C 2006 ! I know China sucks in football and France is really in their downform, but it still need something special to beat a team that made it into world cup final 4 years ago.
