Hahaha to jealous ppl like Raj....have seen the games over and over from 2004. Greece outplayed all, and portugal 2 times over. In that time they hadnt been beaten for 17 games. The where on it, but still ppl didnt know so they were underdogs. But very very strong team, to jealous ppl like Swedes for example who havent even been close to win something i know how it is. Anyway we all try to support our teams.....GO ELLADARA!!!

well of course I am as proud as I can. I mean aren't you proud of your team and country? True, I admit I might not be the most objective person in the world but it is only natural to support your team and sometimes see things differently. Although what I said in the 1st sentence was that you CANNOT judge a team through friendly matches! Sorry for the typo. And I should remind you that we can the first goalscorer in the qualifying qroup stages, however, I do realize that our opponents were not that strong.

@konsantinos, i think that you are a greek, who, like all the other greeks, is too proud of greece. you dont want to believe the fact that greece sucks atm. You said that greece plays defensive football efficiently, is that why on both goals there was no defender marking the goalscorer? they were both free at both times, which does not look as efficient as you said. I still hope you good luck on the world cup, because you will need it real bad.

you can judge a team by friendly matches. you may believe that france is worse than china and will fail to qualify based on their performance, but bear in mind that players are scared of getting injured and losing the World Cup. Look at Rio Ferdinand and Drogba. Many players refuse to dive into tackles or stress themselves prior to big events. it is only normal. I am not saying that Greece plays attractive football, because it is not true. However, Greece plays defensive and counter attack football efficiently and takes advantage of set-pieces. To those you hate Greece for winning the Euro, jealousy and spite is the religion of the mediocre.
