Females may have seairl sex partners, and evolution caused the males to develop the penis shape that they did. Yeah it it good for delivery, but apparantly (according to the fine folk at Discovery) also works at backing out any other recent competitors and giving your boys a better chance. Kind of a stupid question in retrospect, but if you can't tell I'm a little nervous, and the idea of not being able to adequately love up the wife during this whole process is the icing on the cake.
