More shots means deserved to win?? Even if newcastle did not have many attempts it could still be a draw.. I must say not deserved to lose rather.. The two goals from wigan is a freekick given seconds after that nasty challenge on haidara and mcmanaman still had the decency to continue after tt studs into haidara knee.. Second goal a blatant handball.. Tell me how is that a deserved win for wigan.. And f**k off with the comments about getting a pc of the ball.. So now players can make use of that slight touch to execute a nasty follow through?? Doesnt make any sense!

Sorry but for me it was a 50/50 ball, which McManaman got a piece of, watched the replay many times and cannot see intent, over exuberance maybe. Football is a contact sport and not every strong tackle should result in a card or a sending off. tackling in football has become almost extinct.

to the Newcastle supporter who called me an asshole, after the FA's review and subsequent decision for no further action, I am vindicated, clearly you have never played the game. With all the wimps and divers in the game today tackling will very soon be a thing of the past.

gunnersauras. I've had my fair share of those tackles, so any time. I didn't say that the Newcastle player was a wimp or that he faked, clearly he did not. I'm just saying it was a strong tackle, the Wigan player went in hard, got part of the ball and his follow through caught the Newcastle player, other than Dave Whelan I'm in the minority here, but it was not a red card for me. The game has become a game for wimps and divers(cheats) without question.

Another match where ref got it wrong this week end : Everton - Man City. Fellaini clearly handled the ball. He was 2 m from the line in the box. No penalty. If it was allowed, the game's change surely.

should have been clearly a red card and a disallowed goal. And what if it was the last game of the season for two teams struggling for not going down ? The FA should have a look at it and prepare seriously the referees. It's not the first time this season referees got it all wrong in EPL matches. Put either video or professional referee !
