The word 'pathetic' belongs to your dreadful teams defeat at Bradford the other night. Arsenal have become a joke and have no chance finishing above Spurs this season. Van Persie carried you last season. Bye bye Arse Anals.

Commentator said it's Vertonghen's first ever premier league goal...wrong, but on the plus side, 3 points, no late goal conceded and a clean sheet.

AVB gets so much critics out there but they guy is developing the club. OK Modric and Vander Vart left but it was not his fault they wanted to leave like RVP but the difference between AVB and Arsene is that instantly when those two players left he bought top class players to replace them like Dempesy and Dembele OK they might not be the same as what Modric would offer to the team but they are still quality players however Mr Wenger relays on players like Ramesy Gervinho Arshavin well done Spurs

Oh, WTF Chico? He flung himself to the floor and was absolutely wailing. I honestly thought he'd broken some bones his cries were so loud. F***ing shameful behaviour (espeially for a defender). How he didn't get a talking to is beyond me. RETROSPTECTIVE BANS please!

Why couldn't Swansea play like this against us? I know they didn't have Angel (who's quite good if you never watched him) but I mean they were playing out of their skins at the Emirates. That's just the way it is sometimes I suppose.

I watched the entire match thinking it was going to be a cracker. What a dissapointment. Both teams were absolutey impotent in attack and while Swansea's shape were excellent off the ball, I'm not sure Lloris had to a single thing in the 90 minutes of regulation time. Honestly, I think SPurs were lucky to get the 3 points today. I thought a draw would've been the fairer result as the entire match was essentially a dead-lock.

hmmm match report says spurs had 24 shots...16 on target.

I know but sometimes stats don't really tell the story. Most of those were wild shots or basically poor enough for the keeper to easily pick them up. Although, Walker's attempt was brilliant and he was unlucky it didn't go in. I know I'm a gooner but I'm honestly speaking as a neutral football fan right now.

The scoreline is a little misleading, as this was an excellent game of football. While Spurs dominated, what the highlights doesn't show is how quite excellent Swansea were in defense; organized, skillful and composed as they played their way out of every situation they could. In the end, our quality (and perhaps mentality) tipped the balance, but both teams played great patient, possession football. Good on you, Swans.

Love seeing the gunner trolls fail, you talk about the past about finishing above spurs in the league, fine, but when was the last time that spurs won a trophy and when was the last time arsenal won a trophy. Also well done on beating spurs 5-2 against 10 men this season, you must be so proud. You were due, after 4 games with no win against spurs you finally win 2 in a row, and do you really think calling spurs fans spuds is offensive? it's lame, but I guess your used to that in your life.

FistofFury 14 years ago
Soon to be 8 years without a trophy, you're no more Kings of North London than Spurs are.

Michu was playing. It's just that he was completely isolated up top the entire match so there's no real highlights involving him.
