Southampton deserved something from City and United. Kind of feel bad for them. I know they will stay up though. They have middle table teams in their next 6 games, time for results! Ramirez, Lallana, Lambert is enough to keep you up.

It isn't nice, but really the sooner Southampton realise that Atkin is not the man to keep them in the league the better. A return of one win in 10 games and 28 goals conceded is well short of what Southampton would be expecting. Whilst both fellow strugglers QPR and Reading have failed to win, they are at least difficult to be beat and have looked tighter defensively. Southampton are neither functioning as an attacking force or do their defence look like slowing down the tide of shipping goals.
