What a mistake! Poor Koreans!

The reason why Korean football cannot advance to next level is because the current manager f*cking Choi Kang Hee and the stupid Korean Football Assoc are playing "relationship" football. In korea, it's cultural thing to "have each others' back." This goes same in Japan and China, but in Korea, its severe problem. What happens is crappy players like dong guk gets all chances b/c he is tied to Choi Kang Hee in "relations" (same team in K-league), while other talented members don't get chance b/c they are "not as close" to the manager. This has GOT TO GO in order for Korean football to advance. We must have foreign coach who doesn't give sh*t about relationship football (i.e Gus Hiddink)

Shame on Koreans! Korean coach disrespected Iran and Koreans fans and coaching team throw rubbish at Iranian players and punched them. Why is FIFA silent about all this? Korea lost the game as well as ethics! They should be disqualified from WC until they learn respecting opponent is part of the game.

fifa keeps silent simply because south korean fa bribed 'em just like they'd done in 2002.

Come down crazy! I'm so glad some of you had no chance to get into the stadium. If somebody had done something wrong you don't have to prove there are two of them including you! What has it got to do with "Persian women" or "History of Korea and Japan"? You guys see the words you write down sometimes!

just check out what south korean idiots did against iranian players after the match. they're demons. don't treat 'em as you do on other people.

just so you guys know, our team WAS rascist, but most of it was our goddamm coachhe better get kicked out

Elmir 13 years ago

What do Koreans have to be racist about towards Iranians? Why are Koreans so damn racist and intolerant? Because they feel so inferior spending most of history being Japan's rape victim? Iranians are MUCH taller, stronger, Indo-European, Caucusoid, also with Beautiful Eyes, often blue or green, something Koreans can only get through surgery. Persian women are GORGEOUS internationally, Iran's art, music, culture, history dates to ancient times and played a major role in the history of Eurasia and civilization. So their government is fucked up today, but revolutions have made or destroyed many countries. Look at your "brothers" to the north... 100X more fucked than Iran, and they are the same ethnicity as you. It can happen to anyone.

It was a good answer to “Racist Korean” coach who disrespected IRANIAN. go to hell Choi

Bloody Japanese referees, they could deprive us from WC again (UZb-IRAn 0-1)

ramin 13 years ago

I'm Iranian and soooo happy and drunk!! your team deserved to win minus the coach, he's a douche! he should've substituted the Sunderland guy. He insulted our coach before the match. for Korea's sake change coach before WC!! We need to do something about our passing before WC too :(

iran deserve to win..its not individual mistake, its the whole team's mistake ..poor korean

south korea is fuckin' shame of asian football. why the fuck do they keep playing this shit? uzbekistan should of qualified to the world cup instead of this fucked up south korean team. south korean can't be matched to japan and australia even after 100 years.

David 13 years ago

Are you kidding? Out of all 75 games between South Korea and Japan, S.Korea won 40 times and Japan only won 13 times. But yes, I admit South Korea has been playing a bad style of soccer, but can Uzbekistan qualify for the World Cup for 8 consecutive times?? S.Korea was the 6th country in the world to accomplish this. Come back after you get your shit together.

@david south koreans are just like liverfool fans who keep talking about meaningless history. have you watched the latest game between japan and south korea? have you fuckin' watched the game in the confederations cup? japanese football team now belongs to a different sphere in which south korean team can never reach. face up to the reality!

Our players should have danced Gangnam Style in front of Korean coach at the end of the game!

FC Seoul 13 years ago

Sack the damn coach, cause Korean football is going nowhere. We'll be the biggest joke of the World Cup if we continue playing at this rate. Congratulations to Iran, and I really hope Uzbekistan qualifies as well, because they're playing much better football than us at the moment. We're lucky as fuck that they didn't score two more against Qatar.

That Korean manager is not fit to manage such a great team with great history. His tactics in the game was awful but what cost him the result was his so called "mind games" before the match. He literally gave our players extra motivation.

That was a good finish actually, i remember iran in 1998 world cup... they were an exciting team.. This 2014 WC looks set to be similar, as all the exciting teams are qualifying. This includes, Colombia, Belgium, Uruguay, Iran, bosnia
