Messi isn't the best. He played for Barca as a teen. No wonder they can play as a team because they have been together for such a long time. Dont get me wrong. He is still up there, among the best. But he play around xavi,iniesta,busquets where they all act as messi's protector. Messi play high at pitch where barca best known for their possesion in midfield areas. Plus he is a striker who job is to score goals. And thats the different where ronaldo more like a midfielder,attacking minded, play wide areas but still score lot goals. He played for 3 teams already yet he wrote new history each time he change teams where we all know it takes time to suit with new environment. Take it or leave it. Messi can prove me wrong ONLY if he's out of barca. I wonder what would he feel when there is no iniesta, xavi and busquets alongside him.

Nope, Messi's role always switch from time to time depend on the team construction, from winger to midfielder(playmaker) or forward. Except his powerful shot, Ronaldo's brain is empty. He is the one just like u said, need spoon feeding.

Mate, Football is a team game and no one person can play it alone. I do agree with the kind of support team players you have the job becomes quite easy to play in a top team. However, the important thing is to finish off a good pass made towards you and that's what Messi is good at. Not only he finishes off the goal but creates chances for others as well. Not sure what you saw in the highlights but the man scored a free kick goal and was a contributor for another one !! No hard feelings though ! :))
