In what way were we poor exactly? Seriously man, you're being delusional. It was a great game considering the fact that we had no experienced defenders in the back. Not to mention Chicharito hit the post.

Despite an inexperienced back four, we played very well! Our passing was absolutely superb at times and it was great to see Rooney back! What a strike from Anderson! And Cleverley really made up for his earlier sitter. Hopefully we use the 4-3-3 formation a bit more this season, as we definitely won the midfield battle in this game against a good Newcastle side.

Newcastle played a lot better than i expected, and with all our reserves(allmost) against a very strong man utd line-up on their home field. Lets take this with us, and keep growing in confidence. Good game.
