belgium is awesome, but people who say holland is bad are wrong; holland played this game with 5 debutants and some players who have only play once or twice before for the netherlands. they definetly have a talented team.

that buyers have been ctomeping to show that through their higher standards, they are offering safer food. Food safety has literally become competitive. These conditions do not seem to have made the produce noticeably safer. They have added costs for producers due to multiple audits. Some buyers favor one private auditor, others favor a different one, and all buyers wish to retain the right to “Add on” whatever is most important to them. Often the audits are virtually identical, but to satisfy the buyer a different auditor must be paid to re-audit.United Fresh Produce Association has stepped into this chaotic situation. As an Industry group that works with all members of the supply chain, and works toward the best interest of the entire industry, it has an important credibility. This has enabled United to convene a Committee representing major buyers, asking them to support a program to develop a single, voluntary standard that will be acceptable to all buyers, and adaptable to all scales and types of produce operations. This Produce G.A.P. Harmonization project is a year old now. A draft of the voluntary standard is now available. The final draft should be done by the end of October. This is where the rubber will meet the road. Will buyers accept the standard and use it? How will the standard be “owned” and “maintained” (updated as the need arises, based on new information and new experience)? How will auditors be trained and consistency developed? How will this voluntary program interface with mandatory, regulatory process that will be mandated by FDA? Will private audit firms be willing to compete for business based on their ability to deliver audits under a consistent standard? There are many more details to be worked out. A voluntary program, dovetailed with a mandatory, regulatory program will improve food safety and reduce government burden and cost. The programs will be complementary. The public will be served well. Ultimately the issue will be the “dividing line” between activities that must be addressed by a publicly funded, government agency, and those that can be handled within industries or groups with a clear interest in serving the public, raising “best practices”, and preventing abuse by other players. It is in the best interest of the entire public, and all members of the supply chain,m including farmers and food producers of all scales that voluntary initiatives succeed and make their contribution to the overall food safety system. Food Safety is not competitive. The safest food possible should be available to all. Effective public AND private initiatives are needed to achieve this outcome.

belgium and netherlands have equal quality players. the difference is that belgium used all their good players , and holland didnt. afellay. emanuelson, van persie, anita, ola john, and elia didnt play. thats the reason we keep losing and losing. it wont change until some shit players (like mathijsen)are gonna be replaced.

Shame the countries Belgium and the Netherlands split up a long time ago. With the Belgium defence and the Dutch attack we would be unstoppable.

Is that supposed to be a joke? Do you relize if Pato gets in form they don't even really need Neymar god forbid those two mesh together there will be no stopping them, let alone Lucas and Hulk. Brazil are absolutely stacked in every department. don't kid yourself Belgium is good, but there light years from Brazil.

@Andrea We've got a bigger population than countries like Portugal and Sweden, and they are top class teams... So that's not an argument. @Ronaldo-R9 Let's find out in 2014.
