I'm have egyptian origines (my parents) and I love egypt but seriously I hate their celebration ...

Arsenal, Egypt 178 2277

I'm sure you can understand it's not really a celebration but a sign of respect.

me too man they use their religion in everything even in sports!

Ahmed 14 years ago

man .... this celebration means thanks to god .....

Real Madrdid!! 14 years ago

It's fools that you that make me laugh . They are thanking god for the goal they scored you genius. And so what if they use religion in their sport? They have the right to display their beliefs regardless if the are fools like you criticizing them.

Well as they told u , it's called " sajdah " , as muslims we do it to thank Allah ( God ) about anything !! But let me tell u somthing @sharb2012 , u said they use religion in everything !! Let me ask u a question , what does a christian player do when he scores or when is going into the pitch , he just make the cross over his chest , head & shoulders !! Why don't u say the same about them ? I really hate talking like this , but i said that as a reply for u , i hope u get my point....No offence at all for any religion

aight man sorry if i offended you but yeah you are right about Christians we do the same thing! and i hope that your team finishes on the podium after all the hard work! but im not totally convinced because if a christian does the cross sign in Egypt (a player) for example will he survive after the game? :/ @ironfist2010

ironfist2010 14 years ago

Real Madrid, Egypt 69 907

No problem ! Thanks for your wish :) u know what , our olimpic team manager is christian :) in egypt we love each other muslims & christians , so if a christian player did such thing nobody will offend him or even asked him why did he do that...thanks again :)

I didn't know Egypt is this good until I saw the Brazil vs Egypt match. they were playing very attractive attacking football despite facing a giant like Brazil. and Abou Treika is just amazing.

Frankenstein 14 years ago

wow , treika was the key::: after watching egypt in africa cup of nations & Confederations Cup, i admit with no doubts that ,this team is the biggest team in africa and im still wondering, how they didnt qualify to world cup, i think this U23 team will do a great thing to egyptian football.. it was a nice 2nd half.. wish to all teams all the best..

too much upheaval. You don't win the African Cup 3 times in a row by accident (no other country has ever claimed a continental title three times in a row).
