Whether or not Carroll's header was a goal is a tight one. The bottom line is, Liverpool deserved to lose this one for wasting the first hour in the manner they did. Scousers can whinge about that shot from Carroll, but deep down they know that they're grasping at straws and don't want to come to terms with the fact they were beaten by a better team. Oh, and judging from the fact that Chelsea have 1,000,000 more fans than Liverpool, the bigger team too. People are attracted to winners.

Also when they were singing the England National Anthem, the liverpool fans were booing, and while Chelsea were reverently singing or respecting the national anthem, the liverpool players were talking or messing around.

to the person above me, chelsea fans were booing the national anthem while everyone singing. Not only that, they booed the hilsbrough diaster minute of silence before FA cup semifinal that day. Even chelsea fc club condemn their fans action and will hunt for those fans. What you say now? u bring this all up lol. Next time dont talk too much, thinking ur fans are all angels.

Unfortunately liverpool had to play spearing because hes technically our only holding midfielder... imagine if Lucas hadn't done his ACL, i know hes only one player but his presence and dominance in the midfield would have made a big difference this season. I'm keen for him to get back, wanna see my favourite player back in action sooner rather than later <3
