There are rumours that Lyon is thinking of putting a bid in for Chamakh this summer. As a fan, what are your thoughts on this? Do you think he'd accept (it was assumed he'd always go to Marseille if he went back to France)? Do you think he'd do well?

I think they should make at least a bid for lean chamakh. He and gourcuff used to play together in bordeux and teamed up amazing. Since then chamakh just could not quite live up to his potential and gourcuff... I don´t know what happend to him, he was like the rising star and played outstanding in bordeux. After leaving as the most expensive transfer in french history (transfer within ligue 1) he just doesn´t fit in the system, had a long-term injury and just hasn´t performed well. If Lisandro leaves maybe one day, with gomis as a backup (leaves out too many chances) and lacazette (top talent) we really could use chamakh. Just a bit concerned about the money, though as lyon has put more money in our womensteam (CL-winner and probably best womens team out there), than in our "real" team.

Same here, Gourcuff and chamakh need to be reunited, at least to give bastos a break (whos looked sloppy as of late) as he plays every game. I hope we keep lisandro for 1 more year at least but then you have kalstrom who might also leave if we dont finish in third...

Thanks. Those are some intersting points you guys bring up. Regarding Gourcuff, do you think he still wants to stay? He's had a bit of a rough season and (i'm not sure how accurate this is) there were noises about him being unhappy there earlier in the year. As for Lopez, I agree that he should stay. Why would he want to go back to Argentina? He is well liked and I doubt he'd get more money (maybe I'm wrong). Lastly, what are your thoughts on Garde? Forgive my ignorance, but wasn't there some disgruntlement with the fans regarding his tactics? Do you think he'll stay long-term?

man no1 knows if gourcuff still wants to stay but for the clubs sake, and because he is a professional, he makes it seem like he does at least. Hes a pretty chills guy, hes been injured a lot this season and hasnt been getting all the playing time he should have gotten. Actually, before the clubs recent struggles (losing to a couple of relegation teams and vs apoel) the club was doing pretty well, that was when gourcuff had recovered from his injuries so Garde didn't play him too much (4 4 2 was working for lyon and gourcuffs only good in 4 2 3 1 as the playmaker). As for lissandro; the feelings are mxed, some say that he is getting lonely and he might move back to argentina with his family yet every1 loves him in the club and him and gomis are like best friends so I think it will depend on if Lyon finish in third or not (CL spot). And for your last question I have no idea, personally I dont like him because I ont feel like he puts the right lineups in big matches (ex vs apoel last wednesday, gomis (top scorer for lyon) and lacazette (the only player who had scored) didnt start... plus back when gourcuff was healthy, he preferred starting Ederson who actually sucks against Gourcuff who needed playing time to regain his confidence... but now hes injured again lol

Right,he should leave for his better future
