A very interesting game which Barcelona undoubtedly deserved to win. Masterclass performance in the first half, and took their foot off the gas a bit for the second. If Messi had nailed that penalty/header (or if he hadn't been offside by a few inches), Man City would've been done. Three times City has faced Barca, three times City has foolishly had a player sent off against Barca, and three times City has lost to Barca. City are so horrid at defense that it's not even funny (Barca could've had 4-5 if they were more clinical or if the final passes were a little better). Make it clean next game at the Camp Nou, Barcelona, and we will have a very interesting quarterfinal series on our hands.

I agree, he was incredible in taking back possession and creating opportunities for the other guys. I haven't seen him this active in a game in a long time actually, and slide tackling to get the ball, so unreal...

And at the Nou Camp, City should improve on defending and then soon, when it comes to the 2nd half, attack with all they have. Save energy and then attack Barca when Barca are fully settled on the ball.

I notice the change of play in Barca's football. They are getting more faster, counter-attacking more quickly and they are training less but then again it is their final ball that makes Barca uncomfortable sometimes. Man City should have been dead and buried but fought back well and made themselves not to be beaten very badly. Angel Aguero is a saviour for Man City. I think City are missing Yaya Toure.

Damn it, Messi! Why are you always kicking the ball to your right when you take penalties? It is getting too predictable for the goalkeepers to save it!

It is not Manchester United, of course. Manchester United can't even reach this stage. Plus, Manchester United would not have lost 2-1, it would be way higher. You know that Barcelona is one of the greatest clubs and we lost 2-1. I am actually proud of how they played. Even though we could not get the ball that much, they pressured high and ended up not so big gap. You can laugh at us all you want but they never gave up even at the end with the red card. Even with 10 people, they pressured high up. I feel nothing but pride of being a City fan.

What happen to that once known Mr. Colossus, Kompany these days? Always flop on big matches. And also that once known Mr. Reliable, Zabaleta is also giving out penalties easily or getting himself sent off for losing his cold head too often these days. The attack is doing good, but these two guys always ruin this kind of big matches.

He's out of form, He was boss vs Barca last season, hes just having a bad run of form since he just returned from injury, yet he's still better than your overrated Ramos..
