So it's finally happening. The legend is working his way up to become Real Madrid's manager...

"The former France midfielder, 42, has been working with Real coach Carlo Ancelotti in developing young players.

"Zizou, who was Carlo Ancelotti's first squad assistant coach this year, will start a new stage of his career at Real Madrid," the club website reported."

Castilla has been poor recently. Good idea to let Zizou get some managing experience first. I have a feeling he'll manage the French national team one day....

He could have managed Bordeaux, but he refused. He asked after Laurent Blanc if he could manage the national team but the FFF ( France Football Federation) were sceptical about it, they preferred Deschamps, and then he started with Ancelotti.
I believe if he accepted the job, its because he got promised something for the future, that would be complicated for me to see him coaching Real Madrid.
