what about lucas moura?
Nice list... but you forgot one more player....... ME! hehehe
Just found an interesting post from ages ago! Surprisingly Nicp10’s predictions were quite accurate, as many players in this list did eventually become world class players!
Well, the only ones that really flopped hard are McEachran (he apparently has brother who is promising too), Coulibaly, Adryan, Piazon... nothing to be suprised because they went with nickname 'new Lampard', 'new Kaka', and can't remember who Adryan was compared to.
I truly feel for Muniain because of his injuries, he was very good in 2011-2013 period, and even had promising last season. He had wonderful perfomance against United in UEL.
Lol at the PSG fan who said Neymar was overated 4 years ago! XD
But yeah, a lots of them actually lived up to the hype. But those that really are playing to the top level are the like of Neymar, Alaba, Lukaku, Coutinho, Hazard, Thiago and Sterling. The rest have either flopped to some varying degree, ended up playing for weaker side or have yet to actually reach their full potential.
@emo, sometimes this players need perseverance too to break into the first team, look at jesse lingard, scouting doesn't even know him 5 years ago. needs a bit off luck too, but coming from a mediocre club as academy looks far more effective than going into big clubs like barca straight away. vazquez and nacho are lucky to have coach like zidane, if mourinho was still there I don't think they would've break into 1st team.
@thebaldgenius You are right, a lot of decent player actually came trough the academy and they must thank some of their coach for being given a chance.
Well here are some young players who promises to be top players in a future or they already are in the top.
ATTENTION: The list doesn't respect any order. Please don't blame to me if you don't like something. And I'm sorry for my bad spelling, English is my 5th language. Soon I will make another part of young players who promises.
