I acknowledge your perception .... some fans don't forget old memories and that too bitter ones.

On Mourinho;s case : I am not offended as you are speaking truth about this nightmare of a season.

All the backstage clashes between players and manager, verbal war b/w Mourinho and Media, Casillas benched, team's bad performance, etc .... every thing is happening this season ... so fans have booed Mourinho this season and I remember only one time in previous season : 2nd leg Copa Del Rey vs Barcelona (quarterfinals) where we lost.

Real Madrid is not performing well and Mourinho is having problems with his own team so the fans anger is understood (Ofcourse they will favor their local hero Casillas if their is a drift between him and Mourinho). Mourinho  stated in media that he has no team ... they are playing without soul ...... he criticised the La Fabrica and RM Castilla and their manager.... he even said that fans are silent here ... the atmosphere in berbabeu is cold .....

Now your team is losing ... and instead of acting as a morale booster for the squad you act like an idiot blaming referees and your own team. So he will be jeered. Fans jeered him after his clashes with the club's soul Iker Casillas and his senseless comments about the club and their fans in media.

But for Benitez, may be I sound like I am defending him, but the man was jeered on the very first day... he didnt even played his first match as manager and he had to face posters of FUCK YOU RAFA.

Now imagine a boy entering a class for first time and had to see posters of HATRED displayed to him. Atleast give him a fucking chance to prove that he is capable for Chelsea. Instead, his confidence was dropped below negative before he could make his first substitution of the very first match by all the hate he received.

You also have a point Vendetta that fans don't forget old bitter memories ....so they act like this ....

May be for you the banner in stamford is "RAFA OUT" .....

But for me it should be ...... "ABRAMOVICH YOU IDIOT ... YOU THOUGHT WE FORGOT OLD MEMORIES WITH EX-LIVERPOOL COACH..... RAFA OUT"

I was okay with everything until when you brought up Benitez. Remember when Figo left Barcelona for Real Madrid? The fans didn't just boo him, they were trying to throw pig heads at him! You understand we just suffered a 3-0 loss to Juve at that time and Roman just fired a club legend forever forged in to our history. Every fan was having a bad time, and hiring Rafa made it worse. People do not forget the bad things that some others do to a large community (ex. Chelsea fans). But yes, if I went to Stamford Bridge and was allowed to insult our owner, I would put that sentence you wrote down at the end :P. By the way, I thought I read in a football news site that Mourinho admitted it was his fault for losing recently. Or was that only the first time?

@Lodatz : and the irony is Mourinho was once assistant coach in Barca ... :D :D and in a pic (on my laptop) he is having  a good time with Xavi .... Now he speaks to his Madrid staff about his discomfort with the friendship b/w Casillas and Xavi  !! :P

Not the right place to speak up but I miss Vincente Del Bosque ... a true Madridista since 30 years and counting ....

@Vendetta .. Mou is unpredictable ... even if he admits his responsibility for his loss ... it might be sarcasm ... we have dealt with that before ....;)

From our discussion ... I believe the bottom line is that  .. Roman in first place shouldn't have sacked RDM.... and if he did .. shouldn't have bought a rival coach like Benitez .. It is natural for fans to be uncomfortable with Benitez ...
isn't it ?

like for us .....if Guardiola became a Madrid manager .... Pepe would kill him ... lolzz :D ... "Guardiola signs a 5 year deal with Barca rivals Real Madrid"  ...... MOTHER OF BREAKING NEWS !! :D :D

Heheh, Guardiola to Madrid would be hilarious/epic from a neutral point of view. I'm sure he would get sniped down by Pepe or a Barca fan right before he puts the pen on a Real Madrid contract.

@Vendetta: It really would be the most epic FU ever from Pep to Jose if he went to Madrid and won them the CL. ;) I won't lie and pretend part of me didn't want to see it happen.

Shame. those aren't fans those are just drunk people, Rednecks or call them whatever you wish. Roman should take care of his job not the fans and definitely not like this.

I'm sorry. I couldn't resist proving how Benitez is really a horrible manager.
