I would really like to see Argentina win. Not only is the new pope Argentinian, but if they win in Brazil, it mark an impressive era for them. That and I just want to see Messi lift a World Cup. Messi winning a world cup in a rival country? The only thing sweeter would be to win it at home.
Same for Uruguay, I really thought they were going to the final in 2010.

Dynastian98 so what? your talking about a friendly. Spain won when it mattered in the real competition. Argentina also beat Spain 4-1 in a friendly. Does that mean we'll easily win the world cup? no it doesn't.

The point is, that in that friendly, all of Spain's star players were playing. Xavi, Villa, Iniesta, Puyol, Pique, and Casillas were all playing. And they were completely torn apart by Argentina and Portugal. It means that Spain aren't invincible. They can be ripped apart, but you need the right squad and tactics to do it. It means that in the 2014 World Cup, Spain should be wary of Portugal, Argentina, Germany, and Brazil.

And didn't I point out that Spain barely beat Portugal last time out? Ronaldo hit the post twice, and his team mates wasted countless opportunities Ronaldo made for them. If only Portugal had a more clinical striker, they could've won it there. It's a shame Ronaldo couldn't get to score the final penalty. :(

You're a guy who knows how to express yourself correctly, Dynastian. We gave Spain a fight, and if there's anyone they should be afraid of, it's Portugal (wouldn't rule out Germany for that matter). We want revenge after what happened in 2010 and 2012. No more offside goals. No more hits in the woodwork for us.

@Dynast: I don't think England should be left out of that list, either. Wasn't that long ago that England won 1-0 against Spain, before the Euros. And it's the English clubs that have been rivaling Barcelona (who currently make up 6 or 7 of the Spain first XI).

Not tipping England to win anything, because, well. Yeah. :p But, if there's one style that England has become good at repelling, it's the Spanish. Could be a banana-skin for the Spaniards.
