Definitely our signing of the season. I'm glad we snatched him from Spurs right before the end of the transfer window. I'm sure he'll be influential to Chelsea over the next 4 years.

All my Chelsea fans friends said that we paid a lot for him he is not that good *I laughed* and I was so happy when we signed him. He is one of my favorite players in the world since he was at Shakhtar Donetsk :) What I like more now is how he fits so much with Hazard and Oscar. Just imagine a decent striker upfront who can just finish any chance or at least 50% of them *Rooney perhaps* :P :) We would prolly break our 2009/10 goals record.

Yup, he'll definitely be worth the 30m if you ask me. 4+ years of Willian ripping teams apart besides Oscar and Hazard is worth a lot more than how much we bought him for.

@Keisuke: Then you definitely haven't been watching a lot of Chelsea matches this season. In fact, Schurrle's performances are at best average or just a bit above it.

Don't make easy conclusion, I've seen every match or maybe not 2 or 3, Willian is inconsistent, sometimes great, sometimes awful, Schurrle play in different positions every game LW, ST, RW and almost never titular, it's not easy for him... You will see, in 1 year, you will remember what I've said, Willian was overpriced and Schurrle is a bargain!

@Keisuke "I've seen every match" That's not true, because in all the matches he played he was brilliant and a game changer. as for Schurrle as what Vendetta said so far he is average he needs more playing time to prove himself but as we all know Mourinho doesn't give a lot of chances every match, he will stick with the best players in form until we are in a good situation then they can prove themselves. He already gave a couple of chances for Mata, KDB, Schurrle and others but they are not as convincing as the current starting XI and as much as I love Mata I would pick Willian over Mata on a crucial game in the starting XI.

I agree with @Alex and @V, Schürrle is inconsistent too, and often very bad at finishing. Willian is superior to him in every aspect of the game, technically, defensively, and for the finishing.
Now, yes, Schürrle doesn't play a lot, but there's clearly a reason for that, our best midfield is definitely Hazard, Oscar, Willian.
