Will Klopp make a legacy with Liverpool?

Hello everyone. And since you know what are going to talk about, let's begin. Liverpool was in a struggle when Suarez left the club. The 2014-2015 campaign was a season to forget, and the beginning of this season, I don't even know which one was worst. Brendan Rodger was under pressure and the mereyside derby ended as a 1-1 draw, he got SACKED. Now here is some stats or facts, Brendan Rodgers became the first since 50 years, since Phil Taylor, to not win a trophy in his first three seasons. He was close to the title but no. Sure there was some managers that didn't win a title with Liverpool like Roy Hodgson, yes that is what I just typed, Roy Fucking Hodgson. But those manager didn't even passed the first season. Wow. Now we are going to talk about Klopp. Ahhh Klopp, He manage to get us to two finals, which we lost, with players that are not world class, to be honest shit, like Lovren, Skrtel, Moreno, Sakho, and, last but not least, Simon Mignolet, he is known for thinking his hand is a fucking magnet whenever the cross comes. And the month where we had so much injuries, and we manage to get to the final of the capital one cup and Europa League. Also he made players look like they can help us go to champions league next season. Lovren, Sakho, and Joe Allen became quality players now. also Firmino was nowhere when Bredan Rodgers was manager, now he became one of the most important players in our squad. Milner wasn't a great player at first but he made, I think 11 assist, but he was great. Thank you for reading and see you later.

Legacy? I mean why not. Last season he came in to a new league with new players and new fans. Look what he did, 2 finals. That is crazy, imo before Klopp liverpool looked like a half ass mid table team. Granted they are around mid table, Klopp wasn't there for the preseason. but he managed to shape the team into what looked like winners. He will now have a chance to show his football, choose the players he wants and play his game. One thing is for sure, he did show that he can handle the premier league, imo he has proven himself. The only problem that i see is that he doesn't go for big names during the transfer window, he isn't going for players who have proven themselves in the premier league. This could cost him or it could show how great he is at shaping new players into his style and into premier league football.

IE. How can we forget that liverpool v dortmund game :)

I've held thsi opinion for quite a while: a lot of managers could have done what Rodgers did in that 2013/13 season. Rodgers, tactically , was not that great. Neither were his transfers. Of course there are some exceptions to this, though there are questions over how much control he had over transfers.

It looks like Klopp has said 'I have full control over transfers or I'm not agreeing to anything.'

His approach of buying young and unheard of players is quite exciting but also infuriating at times. Most liverpool fans have 100% faith in his transfers, as do I. But sometimes you just want that marquee signing (which I suppose is Sadio)

Only time will tell if he will build a legacy, but I think he will. Already you can see the change in style and belief around the players and supporters. Two finals in his first season, with players he did not choose. Imagine what he'll be able to do once he has the players he wants playing the football he wants.

In addition to that, you can already see he is getting rid of players we don't need/don't suit his style. Some have beenamazing servants, but he's letting them go which shows his true authority.

I know its a cliche for Liverpool fans to say they are excited about the upcoming season, but I truly am. More than any other season for a while. No Europe, a week to prepare for games, players Klopp wants playing the style he wants, its so exciting!

Liverpool have had some amazing talents at their club in the last five years.

They're all gone now. It's Klopp's team for better or for worse, and I'm not sold on the major projection of success. I felt that Sadio Mane was a really underwhelming marquee signing. Unless Klopp works some magic with some of the current players in the squad, I have a hard time seeing Liverpool get top four.

@Sunflash I know that Sadio was overpriced but he does fit in Klopp's tactics. I do agree that you have a hard time seeing Liverpool top 4. We might qualify in europa league. Who knows, anything can happen. All I do know that we might be in europe.

To be sincere, I think that the fact Liverpool is not playing any european competition next year might help them to focus on the PL and I think they should achieve a place in the top 7 or so of the league at the very least. The only reason why I think they might not achieve top four is because they will be so many strong team next year with City, Chelsea and United gaining new manager and some quality player as well. I still hope they do better than last season though. What they achieved was incredible but I hope they achieve even more than that. Good luck Liverpool. ;)
