Will Arsenal finish on top?

Do you think Arsenal will finish top of group F? I'm kinda worried we may finish 2nd and face a tough team like barca, bayern or real madrid. Wenger will likely bench key players due to fatigue in the EPL. A draw at Napoli will be awesome we'll still be on top.

Probably.

You should have more faith in your team. Even if they DO finish second (which is unlikely to me), they can still give Barca or Madrid a good fight. Honestly, as a Madrid supporter, I wouldn't be happy drawing Arsenal in the Ro16. Bayern, on the other hand, is a nightmare for everyone to face.

Imo, things are far from finished. It will depend on a lot of things, Arsenal is the team that could suffer the most from injuries, if they want to compete for the title, they must buy quality player to streghten their squad.
Its to soon, Pellegrini and Mourinho are building competitive squads and United are not yet out of the race, the second half of the season could be completely different, i cant see a winner yet but i can safely say Arsenal will qualify to CL this year.

I don't know if we've ever had a Madrid vs Arsenal. Could be very interesting.

Its unlikely, they will probably finish both first of their groups.

@Lodatz

There was one in 2005/06. Ended 1-0 to Arsenal after two legs thanks to a (who else?) Thierry Henry goal.

There is no way Wenger doesn't start our best line up. There is still a chance (a small chance) that we don't qualify. If Napoli beat us by three goals, and Dortmund win we finish third. But a draw will be enough to stay first. We beat Dortmund away, and we totally dominated Napoli at the emirates so I'm confident.

Here is the goal Dynastian is talking about. Vintage Henry, and vintage commentary

Smelly Vendetta.

I would like to welcome Juan Mata to Manchester Untied in January after a fee of £40 million was agreed with Chelsea.

@gunnerafc You want Mata at ManU ? Are you mad ??? I like that he stays on the bench at chelsea. If he leaves he can go to PSG or Monaco, or somewhere in Italy. Or maybe our bench ? Don't know what I would like most.

@gunner: I'd rather take Rooney for Mata atm and no money included.

^Same. I'd only want Mata to move to United if he wants to leave and stay in the Prem.

I've often actually had a dream that we dropped 30m on Mata and had a midfield of Mata, Ozil, and Cazorla backed up by Wilshere, Rosicky, & Ramsey. Cold you imagine? We'd be the best midfield in the world. UNSTOPPABLE.

Back in the real world however, we need to use that money on a striker.

As to the original topic, I feel that our victory over Marseille makes me confident that we will finish 1st. If we win or draw against Napoli it'll be guaranteed. I think we are capable of that and I also believe that it is vital we do. Don't want a repeat of last year where we draw the worst team because of finishing 2nd and not 1st.
