Why is Wenger starting Aaron Ramsey?!?!?!

against aston villa walcott was injured and against Everton Podolski was injured so Wenger selected aaron ramsey to start. i think ramsey is useless to Arsenal, Wenger could put Oxlade Chamberlain or Arshavin on left wing but decides to put Aaron Ramsey on left-wing even Gervinho is better left winger than ramsey. ramsey isn't even a winger he's a midfielder. I knew Arsenal would draw or lose against Everton because of Ramsey

Ramsey was looking good two seasons ago, what the hell has happened to him?! He makes too many mistakes and gives the ball away often. I wish he'd give Arshavin a chance, he's been great in his past couple of games.

If I were a betting man I would say:
Arshavin will probably leave this January or def. by the summer. Chamakh will leave by the summer. Both Walcott & Sagna won't sign their contract extensions and will leave as well. That's 2 of our best players. Unless they are adequately replaced, which I don't think is realistic, then I would imagine Verms will be off next season or the season after.

Sagna is not going to sign? what?
i think Wenger believe that Ramsey will became stronger and stronger after every game, even the fans not like him.

Villa broke his leg and came back and has been scoring goals. Injury sucks but you can't hide behind it.

He was only 18-19! Villa was in his prime and still is. Ramsey was still a young teen rising in the ranks of the Arsenal squad 2 years ago. Imagine how emotionally and physically painful it can be to a young prospect's fragile mind?

@Mrarsenal: It's not easy for a then teenager to make a comeback from that injury in that young age. His mind was still fragile.

Ramsey was brilliant against Aston Villa. MOTM performence imo. He's still young. Only 21.

Look at the top  YouTube comment from the video above:

Arsenal fans are a joke using Aaron Ramsey as a scapegoat to every defeat they have. He is 21 years of age and is a fantastic talent. Arsenal have a youth policy and their fans must accept that is very rare for any young player to be a proven player at their age.

Booing a 21 year old is a total joke. Arsenal have the best British talent at their club in the country and Arsene Wenger gets no credit for it. Always moan moan moan.

Get behind your club because AW does know what he's doing!!!

I agree with all of that.

@GunnerAFC, I disagree. I think the club that produces the best British talents is West Ham.

I think Arsenal fans are some of the most understanding and loyal out there. Unfortunately, there is a strange tradition where every once in a while the fans seem to nominate a scapegoat to jeer anc accuse as being the cause of any bad result, regardless of his actual performance. A sacrificial lamb to appease the irritation of fans if you will. Ramsey is this scapegoat as Eboue was before him.
It gets me sooo angry when all I see is people bitching about Ramsey on threads. I'm not saying he's our best player or that he doesn't play terrible at times but FFS he is a child (21). Give him time to grow! He was fantastic before his leg broke in 6 places gthat fateful night at Stoke. Arsenal had to beat off United with a stick to land him. He has quality but it needs time to develop and booing him does little to help.
I think the best thing for him at the juncture would be to go on loan to a team that will play him in every match. Getting those minutes under his belt will do the world of good for his confidence and re-discovering the excellent ability we all know he has inside of him.

People think double breaks are easy, you suffer permanent nerve and ligament damage.

@Golden- no clearly Valencia fan. Villa has been my idol for years. I love barcas style of play.

@puppet- Villa broke his right leg when he was younger and he worked thru it and that is the sole reason he is equally good with his right and left foot. Like I said an injury sucks but it can also make you stronger.

In's a special tactic Wenger is using- let's leave it at that ok?

@Golden- you know that Villa used to be a beast for Valencia so don't even go there man
