It's really nothing to do with Chelsea, in any way. Its never been a chant, it's never been a song, it's never even been a cheer, for Chelsea fans. Whereas Everton fans DO sing "Come On You Bluuuues", and have done for generations.
Just like "Come On You Spurs" has been sung for generations, thus: COYS.
Chelsea fans using it (and Gooners with COYG attempts, too) are really just ripping it off. It's a little obnoxious, really.
Why not just stick to your own, like KTBFFH?
