Chelsea FC, England 277 6501

Should Terry get call back after his impressive performance yesterday and for so far having a great season ? If he should get a call , should he get his captain armband back ?

Who else should get a call and how should starting line up look ?

I had to reedit with so many links from other webstie somehow image would not show . Maybe it was just on my end . Either way here we go my formation

lallana or lennon instead of townsend. A shame for england walcott is injured, he is a level above these 3. Also Ashley cole doesn't play anymore, so it'll most probably be baines. And there must be something better than the ox for the left wing right ? He is still very young and just now getting some game time for the first time this season. It will depend on the form he is in in may. So maybe Milner ? Also walker is fast but I don't think he is that good. But does england have other right backs ? glen johnson ? Haven't seen him play this season so I don't really know.

I used a lot of question marks to emphasize the fact that I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Baines instead of Cole. Well England don't have much what to pick from. Wonder if they can surprise in WC.

I think Townsend deserves that spot more than Lallana or Lennon honestly.

Ashley Cole over Baines? No way. Leighton Baines has got to be one of the best LB's on the planet.

I also think that Ross Barkley deserves to be in the squad of the World Cup. Even if he doesn't play, he'll get plenty of experience.

Adam Johnson should be given a shout.

Even though Townsend struggled lately and had some little injuries . I still think the best right winger that will offer speed , and creativity is Townsend . He is incredible dribbler and reminds everyone of Arjen Robben . If not starting then for sure he should be in Brazil .

Here is rest of the players

Goalkeepers : Fraser
Forster ( Celtic) – He has been superb for Celtic . One memorable game was
against Barcelona . Some argue that he should start before Hart .

John Ruddy ( John Ruddy ) – He should have
kept more than 8 clean sheets that he has kept so far , if his defenders will
get more solid .

Defenders :

Phil Jagielka
( Everton ) – He is a solid replacement if any first team defenders get a knock
during the game

Glen Johnson ( Liverpool ) – He has experience
, great attacking ability but sometimes inconsistent at defending and most of
the time finds himself out of position to catch up with his opponents . That is
why he will warm the bench.

Phil Jones ( Manchester United) – He is versatile
player and should be at World Cup to give extra security

Leighton Baines ( Everton ) – Arguably England’s
best left back , but he was never tested against world’s best wingers . Due his
experience and his confidence against worlds best , I pick Ahsley as starting
.

Midfielders :

James Milner (
Manchester City ) – He works hard , he has a great stamina and mostly consistent
with his performances . Even though he found himself on the bench more than on
the pitch, he still quality player . I still do not understand why Pelegrini
did not play him against Chelsea but instead played slow Demichelis …

Ross Barkley ( Everton ) – Lion at heart , creative , fast
and full of energy exactly what will England need when we will be troubled with
opposition .

Adam Lallana ( Southampton ) – He is having sensational form this season. Creative
with ball , very agile and not only he can create but he can also score goal . He
is mature , disciplined and well rounded player that England must have at the
World Cup . Arguably he should probably start , but then what formation England should use ?

Aaron Lennon (
Spurs ) – if you need some pace on the wings with creativity then Aaron is your
man to boost it for England

Frank Lampard ( Chelsea ) – Even at his 35
years of age , he still produces world class performances. Other then his consistency
on the pitch and football abilities, he is very intelligent and inspirational
player for England. England needs players like him . He made huge contribution in England’s
qualifying campaign and deserves to be in Brazil .

Strikers :

Daniel Welbeck ( Manchester United ) – He is
young and maybe inconsistent . However , he can perform as World class and show
that he has a great goal scoring instincts. Also certainly the fact that he is
a versatile player , should be very useful for England .

Lallana is the closest thing we have to an English Hazard. He must start.

Carrick should definitely make it at least into the squad, Terry deserves to go but I think he already retired from the national team. Young could make it just because England lacks a left winger.

^ I'd rather have him for impact, same as Barkley, and let Wilshire and Gerrard build the starting midfield together. I'd also NOT have a 4-4-2.

Lallana, that is, not Carrick.

Agree with Lodatz, England best posible formation fits on a 4-3-3.

SUBS:

Forster

Johnson
Cole
(terry)

Millner
Lampard

Lallana
Young

Welbeck
Defoe

I think that Sturridge functions better as a striker than a winger, no? He struggled as a winger in Chelsea, but is blooming as a striker at L'pool.

I'm sorry but whats the point in this thread? Why bother with a team that will be eliminated in the group stages? Why don't we elaborate on Australia's line up as well. They are another team that is doomed in the group stage.

@Tuanis

LMFAO! No offense mate but this happened for real . United fans were part of this . Basicly your answer on why only Phil Jones deserves to be at world cup .

Man United try an ‪#‎AskCarrick‬ on Twitter but it quickly backfires as fans tweet hilarious and angry responses using the hashtag. I died laughing . These are gold:

#AskCarrick if you could drop one player from the team how would you tell Cleverley?.

#AskCarrick How does it feeling knowing Begovic has more goals than you this season.

#askcarrick in what game was your most memorable pass back to your keeper.

#AskCarrick Do you watch Cleverly train to feel good about yourself?

#AskCarrick On a scale of Tom Cleverly to 0, how bad is Ashley Young?

#AskCarrick Which pub will you go to watch the World Cup?

#AskCarrick Would Moyes consider putting De Gea upfront, so that you can pass the ball the right way?

#AskCarrick If a ball leaves your boot travelling at 30km per hour at 3 pm on saturday, how long does it take to reach De Gea?

#AskCarrick Have you tried putting on your kit backwards so you could pass the ball forward?

#AskCarrick As a child, did you ever dream of becoming a footballer? What stopped you?

#AskCarrick Be Honest, Do You Ever Include Yourself In Your Fantasy Premier League Team?

#AskCarrick Do you think Welback has really been training too hard on penalty?

#AskCarrick Are you going to reply to any of the #AskCarrick tweets or pass it over to De Gea?

#AskCarrick Do you die a little inside when you\'re looking for someone to pass to and Tom Cleverley is to your left.

#AskCarrick Do you ever look at Young, Cleverly, Smalling, Welbeck & question the point of living?

#AskCarrick Did Cleverly win a competition on the back of a box of cereals to play for MUFC?

#AskCarrick If you had to choose between having
Cleverley as a midfield partner or being stabbed in the
leg, how many stabs would you take?

#AskCarrick Do you get depressed when you see Tom
Cleverley\'s name on the team sheet and realize you\'re
gonna have to play with 10 men?

#AskCarrick what\'s it like to surround yourself with
dead weight like @tomclevz23 ?

@GunnerAFC

One full back that wingers from Bayern , Barcelona , United, Real Madrid and etc national teams as well , hate to play against is Ashley "Cashley " Cole . You could watch how they constantly switched sides to avoid Ashley . Yes he is not starting right now but it is because Cesar has been prolific lately . Cole is not out of form and I think he will be even in better form before World Cup. Jose will tune him up before WC .Baines is way better than Cole at attacking , but Cole is superior at defending even at his 33 . So , I think when England wants to press high , Baines will come , but to have security and balance in defense, Cole will be the man that Hodgson will surely use. Especially with his experience at the big tournaments .

To me Terry was never racists , so I was outraged by his ban from national team . Terry has suffered a lot in recent years, but always came back to show why he is regarded as one of the best defenders in the world . This season he has been outstanding . I just do not know any other english player who is better then him at defending . He is arguably best defender of the season out of all in EPL . I think he deserves call up and he deserves his captain armband ( well captain armband will never happen ) . Also , Terry and Cahil are just like a rock ! Tremendous understanding between each other and great reading of the game . England wants solid back ? Then start them both .

Midfield and forwards , I agree I was thinking same formation but only having Ox instead of Lallana , but Adam seems perfectly fine to me .

Dude Marcus, I love Carrick he is one of my favourite player and I still died laughing when I saw those tweets, I had no idea of how other United fans felt about him.

nevertheless, he deserves to go to the WC, who would you play as a CM or a sub for those CMs?

Jones is a good alternative but he is not prepared to play for England at the world cup, not every player can deal playing those kind of games.

I HAVE FAITH IN THIS ENGLAND TEAM!

What most people dont realise is that because of the generational gap in the team, England is going to struggle to even qualify for the next WC. No Gerrard, no Lampard, Rooney with 32... NO CARRICK! nor Cole or Johnson. If the young promising players don't start stepping up their game this can be the last WC participation in a while.

@Marcus Believe me I would love to start Ashley Cole. One of the finest left backs in the world and you're right he is a far superior defender than Baines but it's hard to pick Cole because he's hardly starting for Chelsea. Hopefully Jose does tune him and gives him a good run of games soon.

Judging by Terry's performances this season shows that's he's still got it. I wouldn't mind him returning but I just don't think it will happen.
