to be the next Brazilian icon, Neymar have to playing in Europa. he must prove that he can compete with lot of best player there with with tight competition.

I agree that there is too much hype around Neymar right now, as he hasn't played in europe yet. He does seem pretty small as well. I would also agree that Pato is better than him.

Frankly, I don't understand why Hulk doesn't play more for the national team though as he looks like one of brazil's best forwards right now.

Pato is definitely a player to look out for come the 2014 WC, and I hope he does become a Milan Legend like he hopes to be.

I also agree with legend about Hulk, he's definitely looking more deadly compared to Neymar and Robinho. Neymar's tries to impress which falls short. Robinho is wasteful with is chances. Hulk would set up and score plenty.

Why does there necessarily have to be something like a 'Brazilian icon'? When fame comes, it comes on its own, no need to stylize too much.

@Prodigal Yes, but we are just trying to see which player possibly might restore Brazil to its former glory. I think that it can be Alex Pato, Neymar, or Paulo Henrique Ganso.

As A Brazil A Fan i cant Watch Players Like Neymar,Robinho,Marcelo,Felipe Melo,Hulk playing for Brazil.. I Know that most of them are good players but i want players like:Dida,Rivaldo,Roberto Carlos,Cafu,Lucio,Roue Junior,Ronaldinho,Gilberto Silva,Emerson,Ze Roberto,Kaka,Ronaldo the Fenomeno....

I'm not convinced that it's Neymar. He's good, but he plays in brazil. It's a lot easier in the brazillian league than the premier league, which is why I think he's so good. If u were to put him in the premier league he wouldn't do do good. An example was when santos played Barcelon. Neymar couldn't get past the defense and he had no shots on goal. So I think it's Alexander Pato or hulk.
