1 - Juan Mata. Excellent player, just doesn't fit in Jose's system. Would be a shame is he stays and doesn't make it into the World cup squad. The need to sell him or loan him out.
2 - De Bruyne. Another player that doesn't fit Chelsea's current system. He's a major part of Belgium squad, so he needs to be playing every game. Alot of teams have shown interest.
3 - Lamela. One of the best players in Serie A last season. Not quite fitting in at Spurs. Loan deal until the end of the season would bring back some confidence.
4 - Kagawa. Extraordinary player for BVB. Very ordinary for United. Japan suffer if he does not play. Sell.
5 - Alcântara. Loan at least to the end the season.
6 - Guidetti. Another loan spell will do him good. Now he's 4th choice striker with no hope of playing.
7 - Alonso. Not getting to much game time. His contract is running out. A lot of teams want him. Sell.
8 - Bertrand. Could get more game time if he left. Sell.
9 - Benteke. Started the season strong, form has dipped. Was a shock he stayed at Villa. Time for him to move. Sell.
10 -A.Cole. World class LB. Top clubs still want him. Sell.
11 - Zaha. Signed too soon for United. Needs to go on Loan.

Alonso not getting much game time? Don't be ridiculous. He plays nearly every single game we have. Ancelotti himself came out and made a statement on how important Alonso is, and that the RM board (hopefully) are negotiating over a contract extension with Alonso.

And Thiago Alcantara is doing fine. He's had some very impressive games, and looks to be developing well under Guardiola again. He is crucial to Bayern, especially with Martinez's injuries, and looks to be a very promising player for Bayern's starting XI soon.

Mourinho made the right choice subbing him and Schurrle off and putting Oscar and Willian on. He was trying really hard, but he wasn't helping us in the attack at all. Both him and Schurrle were horrible (it wasn't the first time Mata did nothing in a game either this season).

When Oscar and Willian came on they really sparked our attack. Every single goal involved Oscar (1 goal, 2 assists) and Willian scored a goal as well. They also put a lot of pressure on Southampton and defended amazingly for strikers. We also started attacking much more when both came on. This is why Mourinho prefers a trio of Hazard-Oscar-Willian over something with Mata or De Bruyne.

There's a reason Mata can't play in this formation, he would have been gassed after 60th minute.

A striker in January and Chelsea are joint favorites with City for the title.

Putting that statement aside. I think it would be best if Mata moves too. I don't want such a talented player as him to stay on the bench (although he should learn to adapt to new formations more often). Please Moyes, give us Rooney and take Mata.

I thought Illarr is preferred to Alonso now. Alcântara only had 11 apps this season.. mainly because of injury but Rahfinha is ahead of him now and Lahm is playing in DM atm.
You gotta feel bad for Mata. Chelsea player of the year for the last two seasons and now cant get a game. He must be really frustrated. Bad luck to be in this situation before the World Cup..

U can add Dembele and Vermalen on list. Great players but deserve more playing time .

David aka Azikulipikaketa is 1st choice now. Real have eyes for Cole. Bert doesn't even get a sniff these days, Liverpool are calling. Jose can get Coentrão as replacement this jan transfer.

^With a hard name like that, Azikulipikaketa guy sounds like a perfect signing for Dortmund.

@Wolfie: I see. That makes sense. There's also Patrick Van Aanholt on loan to Vitesse who has been doing fantastic for the past two seasons. Now that I think more about it, it makes a lot of sense to sell Bertrand and Cole.

-Cole is on a high wage and is declining.

-Bertrand isn't starter material at Chelsea and even when competing for a spot in the subs PVA is better than him.

-That leaves our LB slot to Azpilicueta and PVA (if recalled).

-They then can compete for the LB spot the next season

-If not recalled or it doesn't work out then I could see us going for Luke Shaw in the summer transfer window.
