The funny thing is that I support united before the game started. But seeing those amazing and top class performance from cech, terry, lampard and drogba (4 iconic Chelsea player for me), and especially the wonderful fighting spirit of the team, I wonder if loving football would require us to pick our favorite team, I thought this club will be it.
I do feel sad that we lose it, but it matter much less than my honest admiration about how the team play their game

How do you guys feel about our playing style now? What about Mourinho? Do you feel like you sympathize more with Chelsea since his departure or do you still hate us as much as you did? I'm not trying to talk you into liking Chelsea, just generally curious.

Mourinho was a dick for sure, but there are many reasons to dislike Chelsea beyond him, Costa being the most obvious, but there are numerous others.

Fact is though, when there isn't anything going on with United (e.g. cruising) then I tend to actually pay attention to other teams. But as for the moment, United has so many problems that I'm entirely focused on them, tbh I hadn't even really noticed Chelsea was top of the table and until the last few weeks of the season, I won't care about it either.

No disrespect, but I've got more than enough problems to even think about Chelsea.

That is what triggered me and it is not hard really to figure it out , especially when an Argentinian fan who loves Barcelona because of Messi and calls all Chelsea fans started supporting the team after the UCL win. Isn't that ironic from a team who does not sell out their tickets in an away UCL matchup?

Supports Barcelona for Messi implies that Chelsea fans support Chelsea after UCL glory.
Not to mention people who support Real Madrid and have no roots in Madrid or spain whatsoever.

In fewer words I don't dislike when people choose a club for its past or recent glory but I dislike when people who do it accuse others of it, when their whole attitude shouts I support this X club for this X player.

I acknowledge I made a mistake insulting and I should be punished for it despite I did not.

I was just letting you know that, after reading @Liomessi10's comment, it did not seem like he was intending to trigger any responses from anybody. You also have to understand that not everybody here is the same age, and neither do we all have English as our first language. It is easy to misinterpret what others say.

To some people it might be the way you are seeing it, I understand and I respect it, to others it seems like he is degrading Chelsea like a lesser club.
