What club do you support?
They are to beat RM to the race toward the La Decima. RM going for 10th CL while Arsenal aiming for 10th trophiless season. On a serious note, they don't look hungry for win or trophy. It seems that they are happy with 4th like every year. If they continue like this Wigan will make sure they reach La Decima for real.
I was predicting that this might happen.
At this rate, United might be at least able to overtake Arsenal.
We are missing a striker, Giroud is utterly useless these days. Spends more time on the floor than on his feet. And out of the 11 players starting today, only 6 would be starting if we didn't have injuries.
Missing from our best line up today :
Koscielny, Gibbs, Ramsey (he did come on later in the game but he's not fully fit yet), Ozil, Walcott. We are also missing Wilshere who is a very important player for us.
So in the end we have to play with Arteta and Flamini who are just mediocre players for Arsenal's standards.
On top of that Wenger is super stubborn, and has no flexibility in his game. He uses always the same strategy, never dares to make subs early.
TLDR : Many injuries affecting our best players + not enough quality in the squad to cover for injuries + wenger being wenger = the form we have now.
Wenger , is not the old Wenger anymore. Arsenal is a big club and it needs word class players. Wenger had a chance to sign Kostas Mitroglou , Ali Adnan , Eduardo Salvio , Suarez (last year) and even Juan Mata. Wenger doesnt want to put alot of money on the table for these players. Instead he brings Sanogo or Kallstrom (loan). Look at Gervinho who is shining atm at Roma. Wenger sometimes doesnt know how to use players just like Ozil or Wilshere (who was actually an attacking midfielder). Arsenal fails very hard and all because of Arsene Wenger... end of the story :)
Arsenal lost it when they limited themselves with Ozil transfer ... and not buying Suarez was a big mistake when his buyout clause was only 40 mil ... offering Liverpool 45 or 50 would have sealed the deal ... Now this striker worth close to double
Too many Injuries, that's what's wrong. Wenger has nothin to do with this.
To spend some 40+ Million on arguably the best attacking midfielder in the world and to still struggle for 4th place is a sign that Wenger is not the same anymore. He hasn't been the same for the last 3-4 years now.
Injuries ~ Arsenals kryptonite this year.
Hey y'all:
Been a while I know, been terribly busy.
Just finished watching the match. WOW. That was nothing short of disgraceful.
The truth is, it's time for Arsene to hang up his whistle. The man is a legend, not only to Arsenal but to all British football, but it's clear that the same shortcomings happen every single season and dont seem to be changing. I love the man, and I hope for his sake that we win the FA cup so that he can bow out on somewhat of a high. The problems have been there for all to see and if we ever plan on getting anywhere near our potential we're going to have to find a new manager. The problem is, that this summer the options will be limited. Everyone saying they want Klopp to come but that's not realistic at this point in time. In my opinion, the best option would be to bring De Boer and DBgod10 back home. They would suit us to a T. The future is uncertain but the only thing that is for sure is that things can't stay the same. We are The Arsenal FFS. This is unacceptable.
The Everton coach Martinez seems to be a good choice for Arsenal.
Arsenal...This club is becoming a sketch.
Every year Arsenal crumbles either in the beginning of the season or in the middle or in the end , but all for the same reason : Injuries ... .. I say fire all the physicians . If we look at Nasri , he has been constantly injury prone , now he seems to have much more consistent seasons . Alex Song even though he warms the bench , but in Arsenal even bench warmer gets injured somehow .
I think Wenger is not fully at fault . He has a team of talent but not a team of champion mentality . Only Ozil and Podolski , if I am not mistaken ever tasted glory of winning a title in top club . Therefore , he needs to sign another one or two world class champion mentality player .

Agree with Marcus! If a team having consistently a large amount of injured players season after season, then you cant blame it on luck. Either Arsenal tactic or their physical coach is screwed. Player like Walcot has to warm up like Messi does every game (longer warmup time and longer relaxation after the match) etc... Just fire the physician's a$s and get a better one.
2ndly, this team used to be a young talent team but not anymore, they are mature now, but they do not have the champ mentality, non of them. Ozil has been dragged down too and Podolski is just good.
3rd, I think Wenger always lack of plan B, way worse than Barca's lacking plan B.

Agree with that longer warmup, maybe fitness coaches aren't doing their job properly.
Well of course we deserved to lose, if you lose you deserve to lose. Why you ask? They have no fight in them and Wengers tactics are piss poor. @KingHenry Flamini has been one of our best players this season.
^Just above the average.
@dephased Flamini did great, way better than I expected. But, there are many better midfielders out there. Flamini gives us guts and drive, but his technique and vision is not on par with the best defensive midfielders of Europe. That's why I'm saying the guy is a good player for us, but he should be a squad player for a club like Arsenal, not a starter. Same goes for Arteta.
@tuan jin You said it. We don't have a plan B. We always play the same football, regardless of the opposing team, and regardless of the players we're starting. Wenger has no flexibility.
About injuries, they suck. Imo, if we hadn't lost Walcott and Ramsey, we would still be in the title race as of now. No one knows exactly where they came from, but the management has to be at fault. I can't believe a club with the ressources Arsenal has could hire incompetant medical staff. They have to be the best of the best. People from outside the club have criticised the way wenger overplays his players. At this point I'm ready to believe anything, because this injury issue has become a farce.²
@Foota I have to agree with you on that one, I actually wouldn't mind seeing a new face at the head of the club. I really really really want Wenger to succeed so that people acknowledge his amazing accomplishment of building a new stadium while keeping us in the CL all these years. But you're right, we are the fucking Arsenal, we're not supposed to get our asses handed to us on a monthly basis.
Okay, Arsenal lost big against Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool but Today's loss against Everton was a huge surprise imo.
I didn't actually watch the game but from the highlights and the comment section I've heard Arsenal deserved to lose. And truthfully, the scoreline looked that way (3-0).
Why is Arsenal losing big? I mean clubs like Everton or Liverpool haven't spent that much money and they play better than Arsenal?
Is it the strikers? That's part of the problem, but Arsenal's defending has been horrible as well... Wengers tactics?
I wanna hear your opinion guys.
