Right now there are five main devices that top the market:

  1. iPhone 5S
  2. HTC One M8
  3. LG G3
  4. Samsung Galaxy S5
  5. Sony Xperia Z2

Also you have top phones like Nokia Lumia 930, Nexus 5, etc.

Do you have any of these? if so, what do you think of it?

knibis the main difference is that LG G3 has a better processor (runs faster in general and in graphic-intense games) and also a better screen resolution but you're right its not much different.

iPhone in general is more stable, Im not an apple fan, but the Android releases is annoying at time, force you to change your phone every 2 years.

in all android phones I have tried, they are all similar, HTC was awesome till my last Desire-S fuked up (first 1 cm on top of the screen was completely dead, can't be touched). Probably because I did sport and the water came in sometimes. That's why I go for Sony.

I dont like SamSung (just personal preferences). When I buy washing machine & TV or phone I go for German, Japan and avoid less mainstream-mass-production like Sam Sung.

From some products I have with SamSung, they are great for the price they offer.

tuan which new shortcut were you talking about earlier?

knibis

  • G2 runs Snapdragon 800, G3 runs Snapdragon 801 (faster)
  • G2 has a 2.26 GHz CPU, G3 has a 2.5 GHz CPU (again, faster)
  • G3 also has availability for a bigger memory of 3 GB RAM (meaning it can run more things faster)

yes its better but its not that noticable and not that much better,
for the user its practically the same experience since its the same OS

2,26 GHz is still very good for 2014

but i gotta say that that 3GB ram is impressive

I agree knibis if I had the G2 myself i probably wouldnt use money on the G3 because the differences are so small.. but for anyone who always wants the best on the market the G3 is great

2.26 GHz is very good yes and also the 3 GB RAM is only on the 32 GB storage version of the G3, the 16 GB storage version has the same as the G2, 2 GB RAM.

@Lily: the shortcut I meant is:
in older version of Android (before 4.4.2), forexample: in the meeting, or when talking to someone, I receive a phone call, it noisy, and I want to silent it quick, I can just swipe down and the shortcut are there to silent right on top.

With the new version I have to swipe down, press on the quick settings, then all the shortcut will be there, I missed press it sometimes so the lousy noise keep going until I find the button. Same go for other feature (like when I need to switch on the 4G - turned off due to battery low)

Sure, there are workaround or tweak, but still, its annoying

I've got iPhone 5. For the past 1,5 years it's been fine, but I bet it will crack soon, I've heard that Apple make iPhones in a way that they always crack after 2 years. But who knows my mate had iPhone 4 from the start, and it cracked just 2wks ago ( well it was his own fault he dropped it on the floor ).

I still have iOS 6, because I hate the iOS7. 7 doesn't feel like iPhone AT ALL. So my next phone won't be iPhone anymore. Battery goes very fast anyways ..

My mate has had Samsung Galaxy S2 for 3 years without any problems at all. Another mate of mine had it about 4 years and then started having problems.

@tuan Do you recommend Xperia Z2? What are the best and worst things of it?
