Uh... I think... Man, either it too late where I live, either I have no idea why they do it. I guess its for the sake of having the manager hindsight before a game, know if he felt confident or if he told his team to be wary of a particular aspect of their opponent. Like that, in article, journalist can say stuff like: "The manager already said his team didn't seem to be in a good form in the pre-match press conference so the draw didn't come as too much of a suprise". This can show wether the manager is optimist, negatif, worried, confident, wary or if he know what he is doing and understand what going on I guess. Other than that, no idea. :P

As the title asks, what is the point of pre-match press conferences with managers/players?
Post match ones make sense, as you get the managers/players opinions on the match. But nothing of real worth is said or spoken about pre match.
This question came to mine watching Klopp just talk about the same things every week pre-match.
Thoughts?
