I think we call agree that Arsenal and City would have got way better results in first legs , because they made real difficult for opponents in away game .

Also , diving in football is becoming much bigger problem than ever before .

Arsenal. Losing in 1/8's since 2011. Don't say it's easy, but it must be frustrating to not go any further.

Arsenal always getting knocked out early in the CL. So dont come up with crying fans. Just admit it that you've lost against a bigger club than yours.

Arsenal is just as big as Bayern. I thought they were just as good as Bayern too especially in first leg's first 30 min they were even better , but result is what matters and Bayern got the goals they needed .

My opinion.

Arsenal red card: Justified. However, like I said before, the GK is entitled to make that last challenge. It's either he throws his body at the player in an attempt to scuffle the shot, or the ball goes in the back of the net. If it was a defender making that challenge, then it would be a deserved red card. However, I believe that the rules need to be revised, because Szczesny's red card may be deserved according to the guidelines, but not ethically. Szczesny really had no choice in that situation. He was unlucky that Robben was fast, and managed to take full advantage of the foul. Arsenal played fantastically, but lacked the cutting edge I always said they would need in order to score goals. Need a better striker than clumsy Giroud.

City red card: Justified, and stupid from Demichelis. Ruined his team's chances. However, Barcelona had 2 offside goals ruled out (that were both onside), therefore, I firmly believe that Barcelona were the better side. Scoreline should be 6-1, but City should be proud that they made progress from last season. You can't win the CL without experiencing the bitterness of defeat first. They will be stronger next season.

They lacked maturity and experience, thats all. Teams like Bayern are playing so long together and have enough experience to win those games no matter what, at the end the result is always the same.

the mistake we always do: finish 2nd in the group then we get opponents like Bayern, Bayern..

2nd in the group with BVB and Napoli was already a great performance imo, Arsenal got the same points as them, and it would be almost impossible for Arsenal to do more...

@Dynastian scoreline should be 6-1? It wasn't 6-1 so of course it shouldn't have been 6-1.

My point was that both teams would have performed a lot better if they kept their players on the pitch in first leg. Plus , People talking about struggling EPL , but keep forgetting that these two EPL teams played against CL Expert Giants . So, only team I thought was struggling was United who lost against Olympiacos and it was to anyone's surprise .
