Well I'm Board.... TRANSFER THREAD

Manchester United, Germany 50 575

I am bored today, it is snowing and gloomy, so I decided to open a transfer thread for the Winter Transfer Window of 2014.
I am very interested about what people think about it.
Here is what I think Man United should do.

Out:
Anderson - benchwarmer
Ashley Young - doesn't have a brain
Nani

In:
Any midfielder: Strootman, Gundogan, etc. (Something to liven up the dry midfield.)
I would love to see a Dortmund player enter the side.

Sorry for the short list, but tell me what you think your team should do in the next window.

didnt Strootman rejected Man Utd last summer? Gundogan would be awesome In red devils shirt all they have to do is outbid the big spending club

We have good young CBs. Smalling is great. Also as much as i like jones playing cdm I like him even more as a center back.

The real problem is the midfield in United but the defending could also have a little tweaking.NOT REALISTIC BUT PLAYERS WHO WOULD IMMENSELY HELP THE TEAM:

IN:
Toni Kroos (Improbable)
Everton Ribeiro (Expressed interest and said he would like to join United - SIGN HIM UP!)
Ryan Gauld (17 year old "mini-messi" Says he wants to stay at Dundee for the sake of development so let him be!)
Nemanja Matic (Vidic might be able to convince him. ABSOLUTELY bossed the midfield against PSG.)
Baines (Possible.)
Gundogan (Heard he hasn't been signing a new contract. Good news!)

OUT:
Young (Gives more room for Zaha, Januzaj, and Lingard who'll be coming in January 1st.)
Anderson: Please. Miracle as to how he's still at United.
Loan Zaha?: Could help in the negotiation for the possible Baines. Also, great experience. Look at Deulofeu
Cleverley: Just not cutting it for me.

Check him out. Probably the best young talent in the Scottish Prem.

LOL, I've just read the most ridiculous transfer rumor of the season for our club

Source: <http://www.thesportscampus.com/2013120933526/transfer-news/manchester-united-grants-green-signal-to-barcelona-for-super-striker>

Transfer:

Out:

  1. Anderson - A no-brainer, really. Every season, he's inconsistent. He definitely spoiled himself after coming from Porto FC, which is pretty sad tbh.
  2. Cleverley - Really hoped he would become the next BIG thing in United, sadly, it wasn't the case. I still think he has a lot of potential, though, not in United. It'd be best to perhaps either loan him off or let him go to Everton, preferably.
  3. Hunchback Young - Honestly, he's a decent winger, but his diving antics has already damaged the club's reputation. I'll be praying for the day to see him walking out of the club.

In:

  1. Gundogan - This beast of a midfielder is definitely a MUST SIGN for us. I still am pissed off about Thiago reporting that United made no contact with him whatsoever (smh), and now our current position in the league is what shows how much of a mess our board has made. Our midfield is in shambles - Carrick can't do all the work for us, he needs someone to back him up, and that's where we need someone like Gundogan NOW!!

United should go after Lars Bender (the better brother) to improve the midfield. He would sit comfortably next to Carrick. Perhaps even Sami Kehdira when he is fit again.

I really can't understand why Moyes is so far down while he is using the same squad SAF used last season..

Big mistake to let go Nani for me, I mean sometimes he is great.

For the midfield, what about Javi Martinez?

Oh and I'm thinking of otamendi but i think PSG will get him either this summer or this winter.

^ Yes, please take him. If you could hand out a decent amount of cash he's joyfully yours. (The guy does at least one mistake a game. Way too uncomfortable with the ball.)

As for what I'd like to see come in Porto's gates, Anderson would be welcomed. Ricardo Quaresma has also said he wants to play for us, so that would be really cool. Although he flopped at Inter, Barcelona and Chelsea, he was considered a bigger talent than Ronaldo in their days at Sporting, and he was a monster at Porto.

I don't see any reason why would Gundogan sign for United?

@quikzyyy
He's not signing a new contract. That's every reason why he would join United.

Moyes apparently scouting Koke at the Atletico Madrid.
Then again, he could be looking at any other player. Koke has a 24 mil release clause so he'd be a much better buy than Fellaini was. Sign him up!

@man_utd

Koke nearing contract extension. He does not intend to leave Atletico anytime soon, provided Simeone stays. if Simeone leaves after 2014, you can bet that both Costa and Koke will as well (and maybe even Godin, Courtois [declining another loan], Miranda, and Turan)
