Hope he gonna do best he can!
He just needs a chance at proving himself. Definitely a hard-working center-forward.
Dat guy :P
I would have never let Welbeck join Arsenal . Sort of reminds me of Sturridge leaving to Liverpool . Welbeck will turn out to be 20+ goals a season striker .
@Marcus2011
United never had any intentions of selling Welbz. Why would we want to send a player who's been at United since he was a kid to our rivals? He simply asked to leave and if we tried to force him to stay, it would disrupt the club and it's a good choice for him because he be playing ahead of Rooney, RVP, Falcao and our new promising striker James Wilson (who van Gaal and a lot of other United fans seem to put a lot faith in. A lot of United fans are also angered about him leaving but I guess we have to move on.

@man_utd: there should never be such an intention of course, and I dont think there is. But what we didn't do enough is to find a way to make the best out of him...
Im a bit concern about Ronney too. I have always said, his work ethic is awesome but his role in the team confuses every true ACM, and make us weak

Im sorry but the Ferguson days seem to be long gone. It Van Gaal now, and a whole different Man U. The United board apparently payed Welbeck £1.2million to make him leave for Arsenal when the offer came, so they could bring in Falcao. Falcao is by far a better player but that would be the last thing that Fergie would have done.
He was born United,we will never forget you Welbz!!! T-T
@tuan_jinn
We didn't do enough to get the best out of him? To be honest, I think we gave him plenty of chances. We started him quite often, and United fans loved him. I've never heard him complain about not getting enough play time before leaving and he simply left because he knew he wouldn't get any playing time. Although I do understand what you're saying, I think we gave him several chances to shine at United and he simply didn't take them. Mind you, he only has 29 goals for a 142 appearances for United and that does not meet up to the standards of such a club as ours.
@Eden17Hazard17
Oh and please enlighten me, what do you know about the "Ferguson days"? Van Gaal is at the club and yes, it's a different United, but not its philosophy and its spirit. And I'd very much like to see a reliable source of you saying we payed Welbeck 1.2 Million to LEAVE. Bit of a sensationalism there isn't there?
We could've very much had Falcao and Welbeck in the squad. Welbeck left because he KNEW he wouldn't play ahead of the United strikers.
Welbeck still has his Man United washbag while on England duty. You'll always be a red devil at heart, mate! Best of luck at your new club.
