All true. That's what you get when fans own 50%+ of the clubs.
oh snap that quote from the bayern munich president. WELL SAID.
If you cannot afford it just watch on tv. Maybe its cus EPL is better than bundesliga and more action and excitement
As a Arsenal fan, to pay £985 just to see you're team finish 3rd/4th each season is a rip-off.

HA! That's the worst excuse I've heard of. Arsenal's season tickets are ridiculously high man. I can use that kind of money to take a two-way trip to Hawaii from London and back. Bayern's president is very logical when he says that the fans deserve to watch every game in Germany.
I feel as if Germany have a stronger and more ethical connection to football than England, especially when it comes to money.
When Pep Guardiola was interviewed recently, he spoke purely in German. He didn't even switch to Spanish once. And when asked if he was going to adapt to Bayern's playing style or re-introduce tiki-taka, he replied
"The fans come to watch the players, not the coach. Of course I will adapt to Bayern's playing style"
That shows what kind of people are respected in Germany in footballing terms, and how people regard football there. Football is nothing without the fans to watch them.
Even top quality sports TV are expensive, not surprising.
Arsenal fans getting robbed every year. why that expensive ??
This is all well and good. We all know how insanely unjust some of these prices are and that Germany has much more consideration for its fans... BUT the true Reason for all of this comes down to the Bundesligs bylaws. The fact that ever team must be 50%+ fan owned, not have singular beneficiaries, and break even financially means that comparing them to the PL is like compairing apples to oranges.
In England, some clubs are run by owners with endless pockets. This means that they can outcompete for any incoming players and by extension are most likely to succeed. Now, teams such as Arsenal, Liverpool, etc that were previously used to competing/winning had to find a way to narrow the financial margin as much as they could. Morevoer, teams further down the league had to find more ways to raise capital to prevent the loss of all their best players due to inferior wages. Add to this the fact that despite, the ever increasing ticket pricesprices, the PL clubs have a much higher demand than supply for their product... you get a perfect storm of endless inflation. Lastly, it's no coincidence all top 4 highest prices are the 4 london clubs. They pay the highest real estate taxes.
I am not in any way endorsing or justifying the current state of English football but am simply trying to provide some context for a fair comparison. What I would say is this:
#1-With the amount of income coming in from the TV deal, the PL should require that every club use a percentage of it to cut down their ticket prices.
#2- Why don't the extremely rich clubs use some of that money to help out their fans (like city did)?
