Just a question, why do United fans call Wayne "Wazza"?

It's just a typical working class English nick-name manipulation.

Like Paul Gascoigne was 'Gazza', and Aaron Lennon is known as 'Azza' by his team-mates.

So Wayne --> Wazza.

I had a mate called Darren, who everyone called Dazza, for instance.
