so Vincent Kompany has been named the Barclays Player of the Season 2011/12. do you think he deserved it? for me it was Robin Van Persie this year.

Robin Van Persie is a very gud player! But Kompany deserved it because he was unsung for a long time in the PL. He also played a role part in bringing Manchester City to the top! Robin Van Persie also did well but he was not able to bring his club any successes this year. Better luck next time!

But He Did not hepled his team to reach in a title..
The Criteria for those awards are The  successes with the team..
In My Opinion This award must be given to one of these 4:
Kompany,David Silva,Aguero and Yaya Toure..
From other team except for the champions: 
Van Persie,Mata,Suarez,Cisse...

He deserves it more than anyone. Great player who helped Manchester City a lot. 

Yes, Kompany has been absolutely amazing this season

he's the best defender in EPL this season.. as for player of the season.. i might say no.. thats just my opinion..

NO, RvP is PFA Player Of the Year and Kompany is not even in top 5 of PFA Player Of the Year..lol

Yeah,because of him City won the title.I have to admit that he's one of the world's best defender....and the goal vs United.....Can't forget it....

eventhough its not rvp, i'm glad its kompany he fully deserved it. its abt time defenders & keepers win it, ppl rarely notice them instead alwiz focusing onto strikers
