I posted a really well thought out review of Villareal's relegation and the rebuilding of there squad since being promoted back.. but it turns out it had too many characters and after typing that shit out for so long i was just like "fuck it" i deleted an entire paragraph and it still wasn't enough so i just x'ed it out.

long story short. how do you guys think Villareal will do in there return, there off to a good start so far, but can they stay in the league or challenge for european places? I honestly think all they are capable of this season is survival and nothing more..

either way im absolutely delighted to have them back, back to those good old brawls at el Madridgal, tough times them being away for one year made me miss the challenge.

They looked pretty decent against Valladolid (Cani's goal was awesome), but they don't have the squad depth to challenge for the top 6-7. I guess they'll finish somewhere around 12-13. Could make a decent cup run.

Looks like I was wrong, Villareal are playing really really well this year, I won't be surprised if they get into Europe.
