Which strikers should we play against Bayern Munich?

Definitely Hernandez if he is fit. If Mata weren't cup tied, I would have said Rooney.

RvP out with injury, and Mata is locked out of the CL. I'd be surprised if United manage to score more than 3 goals on Bayern over 2 legs.

Play Rooney as a striker. He excels there. Put Kagawa and Januzaj behind him as two deep AM's. Fletcher, Carrick, and Jones can cover the central midfield, because that's where Bayern dominate from. Then you can have whatever backline you want (Evra is out).

It's a case of damage limitation, really. Bayern are favorites here, and for me, United getting through will be quite surprising.
